Things to be brought compulsorily for admission to test/examination center

ü Printed coloured copy of E-Admit Card ü Original Photo ID proof as mentioned in below instructions

ü Face Mask ü Blue ball Pen for rough work & PET water bottle(transparent)

ü Personal hand sanitizer (50ml) ü 2 Passport size photographs (coloured)

1. The candidate must bring the coloured printed E-Admit Card on the day of examination to the allotted Examination Centre on the date and time
mentioned above. The printed E Admit card must be presented for verification along with at least one ORIGINAL (not photocopy or scanned copy)
valid PHOTO IDENTIFICATION CARD Voter Identity Card, Driving Licence, PAN Card, Passport, Aadhaar Card, etc. The candidate should also
affix/paste (do not staple) recent color photograph as uploaded in online application at the space provided and sign across the photograph.

2. The candidate's photograph and signature should be legibly printed and visible on the photo ID card and should match the name on E-Admit Card.
The Photo ID card should not be damaged or smudged.

3. Candidates will NOT be allowed to enter the Test Centre without valid E-Admit Card and Photo Identification card as mentioned above.

4. NO REQUEST FOR CHANGE IN THE TEST DATE, TIME, EXAMINATION CENTRE, and SESSION & VENUE WILL BE CONSIDERED UNDER
ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

5. The E-Admit Card will be valid only for the test date and session time as specified above at page no. 1.

6. Candidates shall make own arrangements for their boarding and lodging at the place of Computer Based Test.

7. Your candidature for the written test is 'PURELY PROVISIONAL' pending detailed scrutiny of eligibility as per ONGC's advertisement. This call letter
is issued based on the declarations made by you in your online application submitted for the post. In case, it is found at any stage of
recruitment/selection process that you do not fulfil the eligibility criteria and the declarations made by you or any document/information submitted by
you are found to be false or you have provided any wrong information, at any point of time, your candidature will be cancelled. If such an event
happens after appointment, your services will be terminated without prejudice to ONGC's right to take any action as it may deem fit.

8. No candidate shall be permitted in the examination centre without carrying this E-Admit Card and government ID proof (in original) under any
circumstances. In case, change in the name by the candidate after/before marriage, the candidate must bring the original matriculation certificate
along with marriage registration certificate/other documentary proof (in original) along with original Identification Card to establish the identity after
marriage. The identity of the candidate will be matched from the proofs to be provided by the candidate. Candidates are allowed to carry only E-Admit
Card and Identity proof inside the examination centre.

9. Based on your declarations in the online application, it is presumed that you have applied through proper channel. In case you qualify for the next
round of selection tests, and you are employed in any Government, Semi-Government or Public Sector Organization, you will have to produce, in
original, a NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from your present employer at the time of document verification without which your candidature will not
be considered

10. The E-Admit Card is made available on the web site www.ongcindia.com for downloading & printing by the candidates. This E-Admit Card is
computer generated and shall not be sent by post.

11. Candidates are required to reach their allotted exam centres on reporting time as mentioned in the E-Admit Card so that entry formalities can be
done smoothly. The main gate of examination centre will be closed half an hour before the commencement of the examination time. No late coming is
allowed. Candidates are, therefore advised to locate their test centre and its accessibility at least a day before the test so that they can reach the
centre on time on the day of the test. ONGC will not be responsible for late coming.

12. No candidate shall be allowed to leave the examination hall during the Computer based Test/Examination.

13. Candidates to please note that this e-admit card does not confer an offer of employment to him/her. His/her candidature for this test is provisional and
is subject to his/her fulfilling the educational and other eligibility criteria prescribed for the post. Merely attending the written test (CBT) does not bind
ONGC to consider the candidate for employment. If any candidate is issued admit card or permitted inadvertently, his/her candidature will be
cancelled at any time as and when such error is detected and no further correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

14. Before commencement of the test, candidates are required to register themselves at registration desk.

15. Once the capturing of Biometric data and/or photograph is done at the Registration Desk, the candidate should proceed to the allocated computer
node and should not leave the Examination Room/Hall before completion of the examination. After the Computer Based Test (CBT) is over the
candidates should appear for bio-metric re-verification before leaving the computer lab. The candidate should ensure that his/her biometric image
and photograph are captured properly during bio-metric verification as your bio-metrics captured during CBT will be verified during the remaining
stages of selection process.

16. Rough Sheet(s) will be provided to candidate for rough work, which will have to be returned to the invigilators after end of the examination. Candidate
should clearly write his/her name and Roll No. on each rough sheet.

17. User ID and password for the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be provided to the candidate 10 minutes before commencement of the test/exam at
their respective seat. The Candidate will be required to enter Login ID and Password which will be provided at examination centre to appear for
Computer Based Test. Please ensure that your name, photograph appearing on the computer screen are correct after logi
18. In order to familiarize with the Computer Based Test/Examination, the candidates are advised to go through the demo (mock test) available on the
website www.ongcindia.com.

19. The candidates should check the particulars viz., Name, Date of Birth, Category, Sub-category, etc. mentioned in E-Admit Card carefully and also
eligibility in all respects as per requirement in Advertisement. The registered candidates may log grievances, if any, with Recruitment Help Desk

20. In case of grievance w. r. t. particulars i.e., Name, Date of Birth, Category, Sub-category, any admit card related query, etc. as mentioned in online
application is not resolved, then the candidate is advised to personally report at the ‘Facilitation Counter’ one day before exam -from 10:00 AM to
2:00 PM with copies of documentary proofs i.e., copy of online application form, certificate, testimonials, etc. along with two (2) passport/stamp size
photographs and photo identity card so that necessary corrections are made. The date of set up of ‘Facilitation Counter’ for a particular city along with
its address will be posted on ONGC’s website for information to candidates.

21. Candidates must refrain from creating any obstruction during the conduct of examination. If any candidate is found obstructing the conduct of the
examination or creating disturbances at the examination venue, his/her candidature shall be summarily cancelled. Such candidate shall also be
liable to be debarred from future examinations of the ONGC and legal proceedings could be initiated against him/her.

22. The candidate should bring only E-Admit Card, original Photo Identification Card and Ball Point Pens to Examination Centre. Candidates
are strictly advised not to bring mobile/cellular phones, electronic gadgets, earphones or microphones, books, notes, electronics or
wrist watches of any kind, pagers or any other electronic communications device, bags, wallet, purses, pen drives or dongles, any type of
metallic items, jewellery etc. inside the examination hall. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action against such
candidates including ban from future examinations. Candidates are also advised not to bring any valuable/costly items to the examination centre, as
safekeeping of the same cannot be assured. ONGC will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.

23. In the examination, if a candidate is (or has been) found guilty of: (i) using unfair means during the examination or (ii) impersonating or procuring
impersonation by any person or (iii) misbehaving in the examination hall or (iv) resorting to any irregular or improper means in connection with his/her
candidature for selection or (v) obtaining support for his/her candidature by any unfair means, such a candidate may, in addition to rendering
himself/herself liable to criminal prosecution, will also be liable: (a) to be disqualified from the examination for which he/she is a candidate and (b) to
be debarred, either permanently or for a specified period, from any examination or recruitment conducted by ONGC.

24. Candidate is also advised to read the “Online Examination Instructions” carefully for computer-based test/exam available with this E-Admit Card.

25. Candidates are also advised to keep visiting website www.ongcindia.com for further updates.

26. Please check your details printed in your admit card. In case of discrepancy with the printed Category/Name/DOB, please report it to the
invigilator/Coordinator at your test venue.

27. Anyone found to be disclosing, publishing, reproducing, transmitting, storing, or facilitating transmission and storage of test contents in any form or
any information therein in whole or part thereof or by any means i.e., verbal or written, electronic or mechanical or taking away the papers supplied in
the test center or found to be in unauthorized possession of test content will be considered as serious misconduct and will be debarred/disqualified
from selection process. ONGC will take disciplinary and legal action as per rules and such cases will be reported to police, if necessary.

28. Candidates must strictly abide by the instruction given by the exam functionaries (Centre supervisor/ Invigilator etc.)

29. All exam labs are under CCTV Surveillance and all activities of candidates are being closely monitored. Candidates are therefore strictly cautioned
not to indulge in any unfair means. Such activities would lead to cancellation of their candidature for this exam, and they may also be debarred from
future exams conducted by ONGC.

30. Candidates are advised to make sure that they sign in the space provided against their details in the attendance sheet. Signing on the attendance
sheet is mandatory and without signing the attendance sheet their candidature will be NULL and VOID.

31. All SC/ST/PWD candidates attending CBT (Written Test) whose mailing address is out of the Test City will be reimbursed single second class to & fro
rail fare (inclusive of sleeper charges/reservation charges if paid) by shortest route or actual fare paid whichever is less, on production of original
railway ticket and SC/ST caste/PwD disability certificate failing which no TA will be paid.

32. Travel allowance (TA) will be paid to SC/ST/PwD candidates as per the form generated along with the admit card as per rules. Candidates who do
not bring the TA form (which can be printed along with the admit card shown below) duly signed by oneself shall not be paid T.A. Departmental
candidates will not be paid TA at test Centre, the same needs to be claimed through their tour programs created for the said purpose.

33. Candidates who have applied under PWD category will be allowed a compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour.

34. For candidates who have opted for a scribe in their online application form, scribe shall be provided at the test venue by ONGC. However, in such
cases other than those of blindness and locomotor disability (both arms affected), the provision of scribe shall be allowed only on production of a
certificate to the effect that the person concerned has physical limitation to write and scribe is essential on his/her behalf from the Chief Medical
Officer/Civil Surgeon/ Medical superintendent of a Government Health case institution as per proforma available on ONGC's website.

35. In the event of any technical issue faced during the exam, candidates are requested to be seated inside the lab for further instructions by the
examination conducting authority.

36. ONGC reserves the right to cancel the selection process/appointment if considered necessary at any stage of the process/appointment.

37. Canvassing directly or indirectly will disqualify the candidature.

38. In the event of the examination being disrupted due to technical issues, the candidates should immediately inform the invigilator. The invigilator will
help the candidate to re-login to the examination. This will start the examination from where it had stopped.

39. Feedback Management link will be opened for candidates after some days from the conduct of examination to see his/her responses online and
raise grievances, if any
ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES DUE TO COVID-19

1. Candidate must maintain social distancing starting from point of entry in the exam venue till his/her exit from the exam venue and follow the
Signage/Notice Board.

2. Candidate must bring their own Face Mask, Hand Gloves, personal hand sanitizer (50ml), transparent blue ball pen, PET water Bottle (transparent)
and the exam related documents (Admit Card, Photo ID Card etc.). No other items will be permitted inside exam Lab/Hall.

3. Temperature of candidates will be checked at the entry to the exam venue via a Thermo Gun.

4. Candidate's Roll Number and the Lab Number' will NOT be displayed outside the exam venue, but the same will be provided to the candidates
individually at the time of entry to the exam venue after their Admit Card and ID verification.

5. Candidates need to follow directions given by Examination Centre representatives in order to observe social distancing at the entry point.

6. At registration desk, the candidate will be directed to sanitize his / her hands using sanitizer after which Photograph will be captured during the
registration process.

7. Candidates will be under CCTV surveillances from entry to exit in the examination premises.

ONLINE EXAMINATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Total duration of test/examination is as mentioned in the E-Admit card.

2. The clock will be set at the server. The countdown timer in the top right corner of screen will display the remaining time available for you to
complete the examination. When the timer reaches zero, the examination will end by itself. You will not be required to end or submit your
examination.

3. The Question Palette displayed on the right side of screen will show the status of each question using one of the following symbols:

a. Click on the question number in the Question Palette to go to that question directly.
b. Click on Save & Next to save your answer for the current question and then go to the next question.
c. Click on Mark for Review & Next to mark the current question for review, and then go to the next question.
d. Caution: Note that your answer for the current question will be not be saved, if you navigate to another question directly (without
saving the answer) by clicking on its question number.
