STATEMENT

1. I Capt Pinky Singh NS 24299-W am posted at MH Danapur. On 01 Feb 20, we had

a party in Nursing Officers Mess. After coming back from mess, at about 0020 hrs I
received call from Flt Lt Ravi Shankar who was posted at Air Force Station Hasimara and
after 02 minutes of conversation the call automatically got disconnected due to network
problem and network was not there for longer time. Thereafter when network was
available I called back Flt Lt Ravi Shankar and had conversation of around 10 minutes. I
don’t remember the exact duration and timing of the calls as this incident had happened
more than two years back. During the conversation Flt Lt Ravi Shankar informed that he
had called Capt Neetu when my number was not reachable and told me that Capt Neetu
responded very rudely.

2. Next day morning when I was going to mess for breakfast Capt Neetu was coming
out of the mess. Capt Neetu stopped me and showed me a number and informed me
about the call given by Flt Lt Ravi Shankar on which I confirmed her that it is my friend’s
number and I will inform him not to call you anymore in future. Then Capt Neetu told me
that “Chal tera friend hai koi baat nahi.”Then she also asked me that where is my friend
posted on which I told her that he is posted to Air Force Station Hasimara. After coming
back to my room from mess I called Flt Lt Ravi Shankar and informed him not to call Capt
Neetu in future.

3. Next day evening I received call from Flt Lt Ravi Shankar and he requested me to
seek apology from Capt Neetu on his behalf for the calls made by him as he told me that
Capt Rohit Kumar had complained in his unit. After that I seek apology from Capt Neetu on
behalf of Flt Lt Ravi Shankar and Capt Neetu confirmed me that the matter is over from
her side as he is my friend she does not have any problem. After few minutes I received
call from unknown number and after enquiring it was revealed that it was Capt Rohit
Kumar asking me collect evidence against Flt Lt Ravi Shankar in written or recorded
format on which I refused him to do so and told him that I am nowhere involved in this
matter and this will disturb my personal life. Thereafter Capt Rohit Kumar told me that now
he will take this matter through official channels.

4. After that I got to know that Capt Neetu had filed FIR in Danapur Police Station
regarding verbal sexual harassment against Flt Lt Ravi Shankar which she never informed
me. I also asked Capt Neetu that why she did so to which she replied “uske sath ab jo
hoga usko pata chalna chahiye.” Later on I was also informed by Flt Lt Ravi Shankar that
Capt Neetu and Capt Rohit Kumar were repeatedly sending letters of complaint to his unit.
In my opinion Capt Neetu and Capt Rohit have distorted and manipulated the actual
conversation as no conversation of verbal sexual had happened between them. After that I
had no information about the progress of this case before getting summons. However, I
don’t know how my name is there as witness in this case. Further, I have no knowledge
about this case. I am giving this statement of my own free will and kindly take it as my final
statement.
