CHAPTER-I

INTRODUCTION
New Crystal Packagings is engaged in the manufacturing and export of normal shopping paper bags,
pick up paper bags, multi specialty paper bags customised to needs of individual corporates etc. Our
plant is situated at Kovilpalayam, CoimbatoreWe have a state of the art facility for the manufacture of
different kinds of paper bags including plain, fussed etc. Our team has vast experience in the
manufacturing of paper bags. The promoters and key management personnel have more than 30 years
of professional work experience in their respective fields.

1.1 ABOUT THE INDUSTRY:

Our new crystal packaging specially in a production of packing item in paper


materials. With an high quality material of paper were used for the the production paper bags. The
spectrum of products in which we deal includes (pouch bags, brown paper bag, loophandle paper bag
and manymore.

India is the second largest producer of food in the world and one of the major consumers of packaged
foods and beverages. Increased consumer awareness and growth of the processed food and beverages
industry are the major factors for a major shift from unpackaged vending to packaged forms of sale. The
packaging industry in India is a mix of both organized medium to large player’s as well very small
players. Domestic demand for packaging is expected to grow rapidly in coming years. FMCG
companies are now widely adopting sustainable packaging technologies to reduce the cost of packaging
as well as taking steps to ensure recycling of packaging material which also protects the environment.

Within the industry, with a 54 per cent market share, consumer packaging is ahead of its bulk packaging
counterpart. During the period 2016-2021, the Soft Drinks and Food industries will be the highest
packaging market share gainers (by units) with share growth of 3.4% and 1.3% respectively. The
growing organized retail sector has been a significant driver of the growth of the Food and Beverage
industries, which in turn drives the growth of Indian packaging industry.
In addition, innovations in the packaging industry, such as the development of lighter packaging with
better barrier properties, add to the growth of packaging industry. In terms of packaging material, Glass
and Rigid Plastics will be among the major share gainers, with share growth of 0.7% and 0.6%
respectively during 2016-2021. Indian packaging industry will see notable growth over 2016-2021,
growing at a CAGR of 9.2% as compared to 6.2% during 2011-2016. The growth of the Indian
packaging industry will be heavily influenced by changing demographics such as growing urbanization
and the rising proportion of middle class consumers. These changes drive the need for new packaging
formats, such as different sizes, materials, and strength. Strong favorable demographic factors such as
increasing disposable income levels, rising consumer awareness and demand for packaged food are
expected to drive the growth of packaging industry in India.

New crystal packaging was founded by murali k 3 years ago. His hard work, dedication and vision have
made New crystal packaging o Company where it stands today. His ideas now roll over to the coming
generation as well. The new generation is all decked up with innovative concepts, more creative,
concerned for the look and keeping it eco friendly. Since it has hit the market, it has never looked back.
It has been able to recognize itself as one of the pioneers packaging industries globally now. We have
made use of technology and ideas so that our packages are crafted with inventiveness and concepts.

New crystal packaging has been providing quality product and incomparable services since it has
stepped in the market. Over the years, we have understood that it is important to look after nature.
Hence we have now stepped ahead of plastic bags and have begun with the manufacturing of paper bags
and eco friendly bags. The company has now switched over to the production of paper bags and eco
friendly bags so that the waste generated due to plastic bags can be minimized from our end.

When the bags are manufactured, they are designed as per the need of the customers. Even today, we do
not compromise on quality. Hence we monitor the look and durability of bags when the production is in
process.We understand that ours is a Good name and we shall continue to provide quality and service
that is beyond customer’s expectation and satisfaction.

2.1HUMAN RESOURCES:
Human resources management works through dedicated HR professionals, who are responsible for the
day-to-day execution of HR-related functions. Typically, human resources will comprise an entire
department within each organization.

HR departments across different organizations can vary in size, structure and nature of their individual
positions. For smaller organizations, it is not uncommon to have a handful of HR generalists, who each
perform a broad array of HR functions. Larger organizations may have more specialized roles, with
individual employees dedicated to functions such as recruiting, immigration and visa handling, talent
management, benefits, compensation and more. Though these HR positions are differentiated and
specialized, job functions may still overlap with each other.

Finance is a necessary and critical part of any organization. It is difficult for profit-
making or other organizations to sustain themselves for long without proper finances. Apart from this
reason, the efficient management of these financial resources is essential to be sustainable and viable in

planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the financial activities and processes of an organization.
This includes fund procurement, allocation of financial resources, utilization of funds, etc., apart from
