CONTEXT

The poet hears the sound of the rain drops on the leaves

EXPLANATION
The first stanza describes the beauty of watching and listening
to the rain fall onto leaves, first onto the leaves at the top, and

He says that the leaves seem to be absorbing rain-water. The
top leaves are fresh, healthy and green. The poet calls them

drops of water will begin to shine in the glowing rays of sun. The
