DESCRIPTION
 What is Precalculus?

     Precalculus is a course, or a set of courses, that includes algebra and 

trigonometry at a level which is designed to prepare students for the study of 
calculus. 
 This course prepares students for the rigorous mathematics that will be
encountered in AP Calculus AB/BC.
 The study of Pre-Calculus deepens a student’s mathematical understanding and
fluency with algebra and trigonometry and extends their ability to make connections
and apply concepts and procedures at higher levels.

POLICY
The grade for each marking period will
be determined based on the following
percentages according to school policy:
• Materials : 10% 
• Quizzes- Mock Exams-Pop Quizzes: 25%
• Performance (Attandance): 25%
• Homework 40%
