Friday 12th June


Dear Diary,

Today was the first day of summer. I woke up early to


see the bright, beautiful sunshine. I decided to wear my
favourite blue shell necklace today. My mum asked me
to visit my grandma on the other side of the bay. On
the way, I swam very quietly past the creepy shipwreck
where the grumpy shark lives. I didn’t want to wake him
because I have heard that he is very snappy!
I also collected some beautiful shells to cheer up
Grandma. At Grandma’s house, she looked tired but
the shells cheered her up. On the way home,
I sung a happy tune that Grandma had taught me.
Unfortunately, I forgot to swim quietly past the
spooky shipwreck…
