God is a missionary, God:

God has been on a mission since the creation of the world. we see the mission of God in the very first
chapter of Genesis to the last chapters of Revelation. God, the creators of everything seen and unseen,
in heaven and on earth, long for every single people group in the world to praise him. And the mission
is the heartbeat of God. God reaching out to the world. Firstly, through Jesus and second people and the
holy spirit. Mission was first used in 1544 by Jesus Ignatius loyal and Jacob loaner to describe the
spread of the Christian faith. By mission, I mean journey and undertaking of word town to town for the
sake of the word of God. The mission means to redeem the whole of creation into a new creation, the
whole concern of God. God self-revelation as the one who loves the world. God-initiative toward
people. God’s involvement in and with the world in which the church is privileged to participate body
of Christ. It enunciates the good news that God is a God-for-people. Christian mission has its origin in
the heart of God himself, the source of the mission is to be found in the being and character of the triune.
“Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the
cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden. But the LORD God
called to the man, where are you?” (Genesis- 3:8-9).

Jesus Christ is a missionary saviour:

“The word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have his glory, the glory of the one and
only Son, who came from the father, full of grace and truth.” (John1:14). “Who, being in very nature
God did not consider equality with God something to be used to his advantage” (Philippians 2:6). “Jesus
healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, and even brought the dead back to life. More importantly, He
made these miracles possible. Although His works were considered blasphemous behaviour by the
Jewish priests, Jesus continually reminded people that His works were aligned with God’s will so “that
the Father may be glorified in the Son” (John 14:13). Jesus is also the perfect example of love. During
His life on the earth, He cared for the poor, He healed the sick (see Luke 17:12–19), and He never
turned away little children (see Matthew 19:13–14). His love is endless and available to all of us. Jesus
taught us that we must forgive. Even as He died on the cross, Jesus forgave the people who killed Him.”1

Holy Spirit is a Missionary spirit:

In this spirit, there are three types;

1. The ‘sending’ spirit
2. The ‘witness’ spirit
3. The ‘commissioning’ spirit.

1. The ‘sending’ spirit:

Again Jesus said, “peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
And with that, he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive anyone’s sins;
their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.” (John 20:21-23).

2. The ‘witness’ spirit:

“It is not for you to know the times or dates the father set by his own authority. But you
will receive power when the holy spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and
in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:7-8).

3. The ‘Commissioning’ spirit:

While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “set apart for
me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” (Acts 13:2).

Again, Jesus said, “peace be with you! As the father has sent me, I am sending you.”

It is the manner in which the father sent the son that determines the manner in which the church is sent
by Jesus, its mission is governed by the manner of his. – Bis Leslie new begin.

Jesus mission on Earth was:

“TO ANNOUNCE THE ARRIVAL, DEMONSTRATE THE REALITY, AND EXTEND THE
INFLUENCE OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD.”

Conclusion:

Jesus Christ established a church, and he founded apostles to carry on that mission. The father
sent not only sent his son so that all might have life in him. He gives them the special power to forgive
sins through the moment when Jesus commissions the apostles to carry on his work and to bring others
to the knowledge of God. As we see the first priests of the church, the power will guard and hand it on
through the church of the reconciliation and the sacrament and his fulfillment.
