Accomplishment Report on SPED Support Fund in
Anislagan NHS
In the world where there is an increasing demands to which learners are not exempted, there
remains those learners who remained behind these advancement. This isn’t because for the sole
reason that these learners opted to stay behind against their peers, but they were born with it. These
learners are considered to be the most marginalized learners in the society – the learners with
Special Educational Needs.
Anislagan National High School is one of those educational institutions which strive to deliver utmost
educational ecxperience to its learners. Over the years, the school has been keeping this honor to
uphold and celebrate individuality among each. However, it’s undeniable that due to the lack of
instructional support and equipment, particularly those that are mainly for the LSENs, this ultimate
goal sometimes is hindered.
For this school year, the school is blessed to be one of the recipients of the Special Education Support
Fund of the Division of Agusan del Sur. With this, the schools were able to purchase the necessary
learning materials and equipment that are made readily available to the identified LSENs in school.
Below are the details of the amount granted to the school, as well as the materials purchased and
provided as indicated in the Liquidation Report.
This is the itemization of the school expenses for the month of May 2022. Along with MOOE
Fund, the SPED Support Fund is indicated in the breakdown of expenses under the supplemental
budget.

These printer and bond papers are really necessary for the reproduction of materials for the LSENs, most
especially now that there are readily available learning resources crafted for them and with the advent also of the
Transition Curriculum.
In this page are the materials for the
learners to manipulate with, such as
the manipulative toys below (for
mathematics, geometric sets), or the
learners can use in reading (basic sight
words chart, flash cards and
audiobook). Each of these materials
can cater to the a specific learning
needs of a learner. These might look
ordinary for a typical adult, but these
are of great help to the learners with
special educational needs. Meanwhile,
the teachers must also learn how to
utilize aptly these materials during
classes or during remediations.
Children loves to listen to music, most especially the learners with special educational needs. This
audio/speaker set does not only fill the air with sounds in melancholic moments, but it also engages the learners in
the learning process. This is also very useful for the learners with difficulty in seeing. They may not be able to grasp
what a material/object looks like, but they can create a picture of it through the sound that they would hear, just
like this audio set can give to them, or even the materials provided above.

In this world where there is a positive rivalry among learners to be recognized as the best, as educators
in the academe, we must not forget that there are also the ones who need our attention the most.
These children are gifts, as well as greatest impactful challenge to us educators, for it is in them that we
realize our ultimate role as purveyor of love and learning.
