Any violation of the internal rules will be
sanctioned and your university or research
institution will be informed.
LIFE IN THE HOUSE
Foyer, study room, library : these rooms
are shared and open to all. The laundry
room is accessible 24 hours a day. Please
respect the premises. To reserve the Foyer
des Résidents (only for the residents of the
house) and to organise a party, you must
fill in a request for authorisation with the
secretariat at least 3 days before the
planned date.
GUESTS
You can receive a guest in your room for a
maximum of 15 days. It is mandatory to
inform the administration. Any
unauthorised guest will be expelled
immediately, and the resident responsible
will be convoked by the Management. You
can ask for an extra bed at the reception
desk, 72 hours before 11:00 am. The stay
lobby of the house. Or ask at the
reception.
RESIDENTS' COMMITTEE
He is elected at the beginning of each
academic year to represent the residents
of the Collège franco-britannique to the
administration. He contributes to the
social and cultural life of the house.
SERVICES AT YOUR
DISPOSAL
A multitude of services and activities are
offered by the Cité internationale:
restaurant, cafeteria, library, coworking
space, sports activities, theatre, music
studios, cultural agenda... For any
information, please contact the
information point in the Maison
internationale.The Relais Social
International is at your disposal in the
Résidence Honnorat to help you in case of
social or psychological difficulties.

Reception opening hours: Monday to Friday
from 08:00 to 20:00.
These times can be changed according to
staff holidays. For each change, a notice is
posted at the reception.
Security guards are present at the
reception of the house from Monday to
Friday from 8pm to midnight and from
5pm to midnight on weekends.
ROOM ACCESS CARD
This access card is strictly personal. In case
of loss, forgetfulness or breakdown, please
go to the reception of the house. If the
reception desk is closed, please go to the
Cité internationale security post at 27
boulevard Jourdan. If you lose or forget
your card, the security guard will charge
you €15 to open your room. If you need a
new card, you will be charged €10.
INTERNET
A WIFI connection is available in your
room and throughout the building. Please
read and sign the charter for the use of
computer facilities before connecting. The
installation of a router is forbidden in the
accommodation.
LETTER / MAIL
Mail is delivered to your letterbox in the
evening. The mail you receive must include
your name, first name and the name of the
house. When you leave, you must give an
order to the post office to forward your
mail (allow a week's delay). Under no
circumstances can the house forward or
hold your mail. A lost mailbox key is
charged at 6 €.
RENT AND EARLY
DEPARTURE
You must pay your rent by the 5th of each
month. No delays will be allowed. Non-
payment of your fee will result in
sanctions.
If you wish to leave the House before the
date of your departure, you must inform
the administration by email at least one
month before your departure.
Please ask us for a confirmation email. Any
fortnight started in the month is due.
HOUSEKEEPING, BED
SHEETS
The cleaning team cleans your room once
a week. The schedule is posted in the
communal kitchens on your floor. Please
tidy your room on the day the cleaning
team comes. Sheets are changed every
fortnight. The schedule is also posted in
the communal kitchens. Please remove
the sheets from your bed on the day of the
change and put them on the floor to
attract the attention of the cleaning lady.
Towels are not provided.
KITCHENS
Please respect the kitchen rules.
Utensils are not provided.
It is forbidden to have parties in the
kitchens.
It is also forbidden to cook in your room
(except for the studios).
Any cooking equipment found in your
room will be removed and returned to you
on the day of your departure.
MAINTENANCE
Light bulb burnt out, sink clogged...: report
it to the reception desk. The maintenance
team will intervene as soon as possible.
An inventory of fixtures form for your
room is given to you on your arrival.
You must return it signed 48 hours after
your check-in. You are responsible for the
state of your room; an inventory of fixtures
will be made at your
departure. The house reserves the right to
keep all or part of the deposit in case of
damage to the rooms. The deposit will be
returned after a satisfactory inspection of
your room. The house team may need to
visit your room at any time to check its
condition.
ENVIRONMENT
The house participates in the selective
sorting, thank you for helping us by sorting
your waste. The garbage room is in the
basement. For the sake of the
environment, please be careful with your
water, electricity and heating
consumption.
RECOMMANDATIONS
Thank you for helping us to keep the
house in good condition.
• Each room is equipped with custom-
made furniture. It is therefore
forbidden to move this furniture or to
add extra furniture (unless specifically
requested).
• Halogen lamps are not allowed.
• Bicycles are not allowed in the rooms
(parking spaces are available outside
in front of the house).
• Nothing may be placed on your
windowsill for safety reasons. It is
forbidden to hang clothes on the
windows.
• Hanging on the walls: no tape, no
pins, only tape.
• Take your shower with the door
closed.
• Animals are strictly forbidden.
