Lets begin with tools and materials we are going to use when we measure

1. Measuring tools- are instrument used for obtaining quantities, dimensions or forces of the real world
objects.
Examples are:
Tape measure- used in taking body measurements. The front has the measurement of 150 cm and 60 inches
on the other side.

Sewing gauge- use for measurement at hem lines, button holes and areas where other small measurements
require.

Ruler- useful tool to have measuring and drawing straight lines and cutting lines.

Yardstick- used marking hemlines and checking grainlines when laying out the pattern.
