HAND HELD SPEED ENFORCEMENT
The Pro Laser III represents state of the art technology and is widely recognised by police world wide as the leading, hand held speed enforcement device.
The PL III emits a series of invisible light pulses to measure both the range and speed of a target vehicle. This technology coupled with advanced optics produces a beam, which is less than 90cm wide at a range of 300 metres. The PL III has the ability to continuously track the vehicle speed with an update three times a second. It has sophisticated error-trapping routines in its processing software to detect panning, reflections, target swapping, obstructions and external interference. The PL III will not display erroneous speeds under these circumstances. The extended range, fast acquisition time and low power consumption are just some of the key benefits. Operational in seconds the PL III can be used in all road situations no matter how busy the traffic, urban, high speed motorway or village locations The tough lightweight waterproof construction houses the head up display and the simple menu driven LCD display. The simplicity of the PL III minimises the officer training requirements reducing the time and costs involved. The PL III versatility can be extended by using the Autovision 3 video system Laser Camera. This powerful system records visual images of offending vehicles.
