Economics. She then earned her law degree from Emory University School
of Law in Atlanta, Georgia, which she attended on a full-tuition merit
scholarship. Following law school, she was selected as a Fulbright Scholar
and spent a year studying international commercial dispute resolution at
the University of British Columbia School of Law in Vancouver, Canada.
Laura now lives in Austin, Texas with her husband, four teenage sons, and
two rescue dogs.
