CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS S

Article I. NAME
The ORGANIZATION shall be known as “BAUA
JOEL G. AGPAOA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL EMPLOYEES’
President ORGANIZATION”

BAUA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, Baua,
ROWENA J. PALACIO Gonzaga, Cagayan is the office of the
Secretary organization.
MARITES I. TABALNO Article III. PURPOSE
Treasurer
The purpose of this organization is to promote

Article IV. MEMBERSHIP

Section 1. Any teacher or non-teaching personnel employed at Baua NHS and holding a
permanent position is qualified to be a member of the organization.
Section 2. An aspiring member shall undergo a pre-membership lecture and shall pay Php 1000.00
as a membership fee.
Section 3. Termination of membership shall be thru resignation, transfer or retirement of a member
from Baua NHS. Membership fee can be claimed upon termination of membership provided that all
liabilities shall settled prior to payment if any.

Article V. OFFICERS
Section 1. A president, a vice president, a secretary, a treasurer, an auditor, 2 P.I.O’s., two
business managers, a representative of JHS, a representative of SHS, and a
representative of non-teaching employees.

Article VI. EXECUTIVE BOARD

Section 1. The executive board shall be the policy-
making body of the organization.

a. Shall formulate policies and supervise the
conduct of election
Section 5. AMENDMENTS COMMITTEE
A. In-charge of the revision and amendments
of the constitution and by-laws.

Article VIII. ELECTION

Section 1. The members of the executive board shall
be elected by members in a meeting called
for the purpose.
Section 2. The officers elected shall take the office
immediately after the confirmation of their
position and oath taking rites.

Section 3. The term of office shall be two years and no officer shall serve for more than two consecutive
terms in the same position.
Section 4. In the event of disqualification or resignation of an officer, the organization may elect a
successor who shall serve for the unexpired term.

Article IX. MEETINGS

Section 1. Regular meeting of the board shall be held every first Friday of the month.(Just after the
monthly mass)
Section 2. Special meetings of the board shall be called anytime as need arises.
Section 3. Meeting with all the members maybe called by the president provided that the request
for the conduct of meeting has been approved by the school head and the notice and
agenda of the meeting has been given to the members at least one day prior to the
meeting.
Section 4. General Assembly meeting of the organization shall be held twice a year (last day of
INSET and after recognition program).

Article X. CASTING OF VOTES

Section 1. Each member shall be entitled to cast a vote.

Article XI. FUNDS

The source of funds of the organization shall be from the

Article XII. BENEFITS/PRIVILEGES

spouse and children of the member and other family members which includes siblings, aunts and uncles
(siblings of parents) of the member
Member - ₱ 10,000.00
Immediate Family Member - ₱5,000.00
Other Family members – 1,000
Section 2. If a member will be hospitalized and will be confined, he/she will receive P500/day. However, if the
confinement exceeds 10 days, the additional assistance to be given, if there will be, shall be
decided by the organization upon showing proofs of his/her hospitalization.
Section 3. If a member retires, a contribution equivalent to one (1) day salary from each member will be
collected. The said contribution will be used for the program and any excess will be given to the
retiree as “pabaon”.
Section 4. A cash gift of ₱5,000.00 will be given to an active member who will get married.
Section 5. Non payment of monthly contribution for 3 cumulative months will be forwarded a notice. Non-
paymnt a2 months after receiving the notice means no availment of benefits.
Section 6. If the fee is not utilized within a year, it will be a revolving fund of the organization and be
granted as emergency loan to any member with an interest of 3 % to be paid for 3 months upon
availment of loan for ₱1,000.00 - ₱5,000.00 and 6 months for ₱6,000.00 – ₱10,000.00.
additional 1 % will be added upon maturity.
Section 7. Every member shall receive a dividend from the 80% net proceeds of the canteen at the back
which will be given every December. However, should there be times that contributions are
needed; the organization may opt to use the existing dividend as per agreement by the members.
From the 80 pecent proceeds, 40 percent will be for the dividend, 40 percent for the faculty
development and 20 percent for revolving fund.

President Section 1. No amendment shall be made to this
constitution except at any meeting by a two-thirds

Article I. ELECTION OF OFFICERS

Section 1. Candidates for the office shall be nominated on the floor.
Section 2. The officers shall be elected by open ballot at an election called for the purpose. One ballot
shall be casted by each member.
Section 3. In case of a tie, a toss coin will be done. (Best of three)

Article II. DUTIES OF OFFICERS AND MEMBERS

Section 1. The President
a. Shall preside all meetings of the board on general or special meetings.
b. Shall call special meetings of the organization or board when necessary or when requested to do
so by the board.
c. Shall sign all official documents and papers of the organization.
d. Shall perform such duties as are usually attached to the office of the president.
Section 2. The Vice-President
a. Shall have all powers and perform all the duties of the president in the absence of the latter.
b. Shall perform duties/ responsibilities delegated to him by the president.
Section 3. The Secretary
a. Shall keep records of the proceedings of the executive board meetings, general or special
meetings.
b. Shall submit a report of the activities of the organization and of the executive board to the
annual meeting and upon its adoption the board shall present a copy of this report to the
members.
c. Shall issue and sign all official documents and notices of the organization and perform such
other duties as are usually attached to the office of the secretary.
Section 4. The Treasurer
a. Shall collect the membership fee and monthly contribution from the members.
b. Shall deposit the funds of the organization in a recognized depository bank and shall disburse
these funds.
c. Shall keep records of all money received and disbursed.
