20. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE GENERAL FUNCTION OF THE POSITION (Job Summary)

Under direction, provides guidance in formulating/developing and implementing plans, programs, procedures, policies, and
standards related to effective implementation of COA/DBM rules and regulations. 1.
Supervises preparation of the Work and Financial Plan of the Agency.
2. Supervises the operation of the Finance Unit.
3. Ensures proper implementation of administrative and financial policies especially the control of funds and collection of
revenues.
4. Renders technical advice on financial and budgetary matters to the Medical Center Chief.
5. Leads budget initiatives for the agancy 6.
Attends to the concerns of the Finance Service 7.
Performs other related functions as may be assigned.
