How to re-submit historical records to WKO

KB200009

Overview / Issue
Watchkeeper Online accepts data uploads from Watchkeeper to facilitate fleet-wide
reporting. Uploads can be made over the web or via email.
Watchkeeper automatically generates the next upload file, based on when the last upload
was made. The first time you upload, all information is sent. However, sometimes uploads
can get out of sequence, perhaps resulting in an upload for May being submitted before an
upload for April. This can happen for example, if the April upload failed.

Solution
To fix this problem, re-do the upload for a missed period by following the steps below:

1. Log in to Watchkeeper Client and click OPTIONS then SYNCHRONISE WITH OFFICE. This
will load the part of the program where uploads are done:

2. Now click the “Advanced” expander as shown below:

3. A small section will open with a “From” date, GO and RESET buttons.

4. You will have been notified of a “Re-submit from date”. Please enter this date in the
“From” field. For example, if you have been notified that the re-submit from date is the
1st January 2000, then please enter this date:

5. Now click GO to generate the upload file

6. Now click SUBMIT VIA EMAIL to save the file to disk.

7. Attach this file to an email and send it to office@isfwatchkeeper.com. Please attach the
file to your email in exactly the same format it was generated in, so don’t
compress/uncomress it further.

8. You will receive an automated acknowledgement email confirming receipt and successful
processing
