Dear Maam Pariñas:

The DOLE Government Internship Program (DOLE-GIP) is a training-cum

employment program that enables the youth to be engaged in constructive and productive
public service to draw their support and understanding of Government programs and
projects.

The program likewise afford opportunities to beneficiaries demonstrate their talents

and skills while undergoing internship to fully prepare them for their future employment and
will be paid a stipend equivalent the existing minimum wage in the region or P316.00 per day
for a period of three months.

In view thereof, this Office request that Ms.Melanie C. Olais, a GIP beneficiary will
be assigned in your office starting April 19, 2022. Their time and work assignment will be
under your full supervision. However, may we request that GIP beneficiary shall perform
desk works within the office to prevent them from exposure to risk due to the threat of
COVID-19 virus.
