Situation: Getting vaccinated against Covid-19
is encouraged by the government to
help mitigate the COVID-19 cases in
the country. However, due to the
efficacy rate of the vaccines that
arrived in the Philippines, others are
still undecided whether or not to get
vaccinated, which is one of the
factors affecting consumer health
education especially in times of
pandemic.
Situation: In the Church, even after the
pronouncement of Pope Francis about
vaccinating oneself as a “moral
obligation”, still a number of Christian
laity and ministers still stand against it
due to their “uncertain efficacy” and
“suspicious causes”.
As a Christian writer and a consumer
health advocate, your goal is to
persuade the readers to take action in
ensuring consumer health education
especially in times of pandemic.
