GUIDELINES IN THE DEVELOPMEMNT OF MODULES

A. Parts of the Module (Grades 4-12)

1. Getting Started/Magsimula Tayo


 2-3 sentences introduction about the module
 contains the learning objectives to be developed (indicate also the competency code)
 it contains instructions for the learner on how to use the module

2. Pretest/Panimulang Pagsusulit
 Elem. – at least 10 items
 Secondary- at least 15 items ( if problem solving less no. of items)

3. Study Time/Pag-aralan Natin


 Comprehensive discussion about the topic/lesson
 If there are related videos that will enrich the lesson indicate the link for the learners to
access

4. Practice Time/Gawain
 3 different activities congruent to the objectives

5. Remember/Key Points/Tandaan Natin


 a generalization, important key ideas or things to remember

6. Posttest/Pangwakas na Pagsusulit
 Elem. – at least 10 items
 Secondary- at least 15 items (if problem solving less no. of items)
 Questions in the posttest should not be the same with the pretest it should be parallel
questions.

7. Key to Corrections/Self-Check/Mga Susing Sagot


 Contains answers to all the activities (Pretest, Practice Time & Posttest)

8. References/Sanggunian
 Cite all the references or sources in developing the material

2. Body Text
 Grades 4 -12 shall be justified
 Page numbers are set in Arabic Numerals; centered at the bottom of the page

3. Illustrations
 If there are images/pictures have it illustrated.
 Illustrations shall face toward the page gutter.
