Read this operation manual before utilizing it. The user must be familiarized with the instrument and
follow the instructions carefully.
This user manual is subject to changes due to technical improvements; The manufacturer does not
assume any liability for any printing error or flaw.
The calibrator is light and compact, powered by 3.7Vdc @ 5,200mA Li-Ion batteries, the plastic outer
casing has a modern design, with a touchscreen, 65,536 colors, 272x480 pixels graphic display. It also has a 5
buttons tactile keyboard, giving the user an alternative way to navigate the menus.
In order to better utilize the resistive touchscreen display, we recommend the use of an object
with a non-piercing soft and thin tip.
The instrument has two simultaneous and independent universal channels that are isolated from each
other. The Input channel is used for measurement, while the Output channel is used for simulation. Both
channels accept the following types of signals; Thermocouples, RTs, mV, V, mA and Ohmic Resistance. Each
channel has its own 24V @ 30mA power source, also isolated from each other.
As an optional feature, the instrument can also have two more configurable channels for pressure
measurement, one internal (CP1) and the other external (CP2).
All measurements and simulations are made using high-resolution integrated circuits (24bits), with
sophisticated conditioning, filtering and amplification systems, thereby giving the product excellent precision
and thermal stability over time.
There are two options for pressure modules, one internal and one input for external modules, CP1 and
CP2 respectively, located on the bottom part of the instrument.
On the right-hand side there is an USB type B input for the battery recharging.
Input/Output – Current mA
Range Resolution Accuracy Observation
0 to 51mA 0.1µA ± 0.02% of reading + 0.4µA Active or Passive loop
Passive loop: Considers that the Calibrator is being used in a non-energized loop, meaning that it must
supply power to the circuit itself, therefore the 24V source of the input channel will be turned on and the max
current of the measurement will be 51mA.
Active loop: Considers the Calibrator is being used in an energized loop, meaning that the circuit is
powered by an external power supply, therefore the 24V source of the input channel will be turned off and the
max current of the measurement will be 51mA.

The SCALE X function allows you to display an input or simulate an output in an user-defined engi-
neering unit using correlation (linear interpolation).
Through this function, the user can display a linear input such as Voltage or Current, scaled as need-
