b. Sportsmanship is playing within the rules and understanding and using sports
etiquette. It is playing fairly in the spirit of the game, showing respect and fair play to
opponents and graciousness in both victory and defeat.
2. Give the importance of proper etiquette in physical education.
- It enhances the social aspects of every individual.
- It is essential in maintaining friendly relationship between people.
- It helps us show respect for other people and vice versa.
- It enhances communication by breaking down barriers.
- It also means that everybody puts away whatever piece of equipment they were using,
and wiped off any sweat they may have left on the seating area, or handles.

Additional Activities
When me and my sisters went to Naujan with our Aunty and cousins, we passed by at a
recreational area and explored the inside a bit while our Aunty talks to the person in charge of
the place. We spotted some rules that should be followed such as the shoes must be left in the
locker before going inside and then wear the ones provided. There are also rules that says we
must be mindful of the equipment we’re going to use. As I observe the surroundings, there are
people who follows the etiquette and some that don’t. Though those people exist, there is also a
person in charge of reminding them to follow the regulations posted properly to maintain the
peaceful and proper surrounding within the place.

What I Have Learned

In this lesson, I learned about playing sports without proper gear can be very dangerous,
and, if you are not careful enough, a fun game can lead to a hospital visit. Wearing the proper
gear drastically reduces the chances of your getting injured, enabling you to focus on the game
and not worry about accidents that might occur. Facilities must be observed and taken care of.
Same goes for the equipment used during the activities.
I must observe the way I act inside a facility while doing activities with others. Proper
etiquette must be observed as well.
As a student, it is important for me to know what is should and shouldn’t be done during
activities. I must also know that equipments are used properly with some guidance if needed.

ESSAY
Facilities and equipments are essential to properly perform certain physical activities.
Long story short, they are important for an activity to take place without any sudden accidents.
A facility that both holds a Zumba and yoga class. Equipments needed are well-observed
and maintained properly. A person must sign up for the lesson held twice a week. Each class is
paid a 500 peso fine. A worthwhile activity for women especially housewives. The facility is
provided solely for the specialized classes in order to provide for the physical health of the
people taking the class.
Each facility and equipment have their own uses and roles. They create a safe working
environment, reduces energy output costs, and makes all business functions run smoothly and
efficiently.
