1. When do you need to send a message via email and when not?
Answer : You are sending an email if you need something done within the next couple of days,
and you're not sending an email in a very short time.

2. What are the techniques for revising the purpose, introduction and conclusion of your
document?
Answer : Revising the purpose is sometimes your purpose is hiding in the middle or at the end of
your document, rather than at the beginning. In that case, cut and paste your purpose into the first
paragraph. Revising the introduction is included important information in the first or second line
of your opening, you may need to entice your readers to keep on reading. Revising the
conclusion is your closing had better be strong, do not risk a weak, ineffective ending. The
information in your conclusion depends on the kind of document you are writing.

3. How to write reader-based rather than author-based documents?

Answer : Reader-based document emphasizes the information that the reader needs or expects to
find. One way to test your document for a reader-based structure is to check for cues that reveal
your plan to your reader. Readers expect to find cues in : The introduction, the first sentence of
each paragraph, The transition words, and the headings. If you have not fulfilled your promise to
your reader, revise the paragraph, making it reader-based.

4. Write a business letter to the company's partners, indicating your willingness to work
with them, to collaborate on a project consisting of an introduction, body and conclusion.
