Pray for the Spread of the Gospel

Most Japanese do not know a Christian and have little, if any, idea

Pray for Wisdom in Church Planting

In Japan nearly 1,500 communities with populations of 3,000-
50,000 have no church. There are also many social groups in large
cities that are unreached. As the population of Japan is projected
to halve by the year 2100, many regional towns could disappear.
Wisdom is needed in deciding how to plant new churches that will
thrive in this context.

Revival in Japanese Churches

The average Japanese church now sees less than one baptism a
year. With increasingly elderly congregations, the church needs to
reach the next generation for Jesus in order to survive. Yet 30
percent of churches do not have any children’s work.

Pray for Laborers of the Gospel

Many of the church pastors and elders in Japan are over 70.
Please pray for young pastors and elders to step up ad lead the
Japanese churches.

Unity in Body of Christ in Japan

It’s easy to have a divide in such a spiritually dark place. Most
churches aren’t connected and denominations divide them. Pray

customs, environments, laws, new visa,
new apartment, new prayer requests
and a new budget.

Living in Japan is about 70% more
