WWW- The World Wide Web -- also known as the web, WWW or W3 -- refers to all the public websites
or pages that users can access on their local computers and other devices through the internet. These
pages and documents are interconnected by means of hyperlinks that users click on for information.

Webpage or Homepage- A home page (or homepage) is the main web page of a website. The term may
also refer to the start page shown in a web browser when the application first opens. Usually, the home
page is located at the root of the website's domain or subdomain.

Web browser- A Web browser is a client program that uses HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) to make
requests of Web servers throughout the Internet on behalf of the browser user.

HTTP- (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) is the set of rules for transferring files -- such as text, images,
sound, video and other multimedia files -- over the web. As soon as a user opens their web browser, they
are indirectly using HTTP.

URL- A Uniform Resource Locator (URL), colloquially termed a web address,[1] is a reference to a web
resource that specifies its location on a computer network and a mechanism for retrieving it.

HTML- Hypertext Markup Language, a standardized system for tagging text files to achieve font,
color, graphic, and hyperlink effects on World Wide Web pages.

ISP- An ISP (internet service provider) is a company that provides individuals and organizations
access to the internet and other related services.
