Description of Project Area and Surrounding Environment ‘The proposed project is located along the flood plain of Cabatuan River, Bray. Hacienda, municipality of Bugallon. The project covers a total area of 7.7075 hectares. Large amount of river ageregates ranging from fine sand to boulders are deposited atthe project site. Similar to the adjoining sand and gravel project, the existing vegetations ate talahib and crogon grasses ‘There are no infrastructure or residential houses the vicinity of the project C. REMARKS: Extraction of river aggregates from the project area helps dredge the rive. It could also minimize flooding and erosion of the areas near the river. The amount of agaregate to be extracted annually in the area will not create significant negative effect to the environment D.
