machine terminal that enables you to deposit
cash without any manual intervention of a
bank officer. In a cash deposit machine, you
can deposit cash with or without using the
ATM cum debit card.

WHAT IS CDM CHARGES
IN BANK?
There is no cost and the
transaction is free if you deposit
cash using debit card at the CDM.
No matter whether it is a home or a
non-home branch, it is free to
deposit cash using debit card to
your card linked savings account
from any CDM. Also, for any
cardless transaction, the charge is
Rs 22 plus GST.

How much money can I deposit in cash deposit machine?

2000 denominations can be deposited in a single transaction. The maximum limit for cash
deposit: in the case of a transaction without a card, the maximum limit is Rs 49,000 per day,
while for cash deposit by debit card, the maximum limit is Rs 2 lakh

How many notes does Cash Deposit Machine accept ?

200 currency notes can be deposited in a single

transaction.

 History of CDM

In 1960, an American named Luther

George invented the Bankograph, a machine that
allowed customers to deposit cash and checks into
it. The first ATM was set up in June 1967 on a street
in Enfield, London at a branch of Barclays bank. A
British inventor named John Shepherd-Barron is
credited with its invention.

 HOW TO DEPOSIT CASH IN CASH
DEPOSIT MACHINE?
1.Insert debit card and enter PIN for validation.
2.Select account type (Saving or Current).
3.Place the money in the cash deposit slot and
click “Continue”.
4.Machine will sort the cash and will show
denomination-wise amount to be deposited.
5.If correct, click “Deposit”.
6.Amount will be deposited.
7.Receipt will be generated.
