Abstrak
Tujuan dari penelitian on the job training ini maka mahasiswa dapat mengetahui : 1. Mengetahui
apakah pada kegiatan on the job training dapat meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa, 2. Melatih
mahasiswa untuk menjadi lebih bertanggung jawab, 3. Mahasiswa memenuhi persyaratan nilai
akademik. Pengumpulan data data yang di kumpulkan mahasiswa dengan metode observasi
langsung yaitu praktik kerja langsung didunia industri. Dengan adanya kegiatan on the job training
ini mahawiswa dapat banyak pengalaman yang didapatkan maka, Di buat sebagai gambaran hasil
melaksanakan praktik selama 6 bulan di Hotel orchadz jayakarta, di bagian food and beverage
service yang memepelajari bagaimana melayani tamu yang baik dan benar, dan memberikan
pelayana yang terbaik untuk tamu, serta mempelajari bagaimana cara metode pembayaran pada
kasir, mempelajari bagaimana menangani event event di banquet. dapat mengetahui bagaimana
penanganan jika tamu complaint, Mahasiswa selama on the job training mendapatka ilmu baru dan
mengalami perubahan yang sangat signifikan di mulai dari intelektual dan emosional.
Kata kunci : kegiatan MBKM, kegiatan ojt, di food and beverage service.
Abstract
The purpose of this on-the-job training research is that students can find out: 1. Knowing whether
on-the-job training activities can improve student competence, 2. Train students to be more
responsible, 3. Students meet the requirements for academic scores. Data collection collected by
students using the direct observation method is direct work practice in the industrial world. With
this on the job training activity, students can get a lot of experience obtained, so, it is made as an
illustration of the results of carrying out practices for 6 months at the orchadz Jayakarta Hotel, in
the food and beverage service section that learns how to serve good and correct guests, and
provide the best service for guests, as well as learning how to pay at the cashier, learn how to
handle event events at the banquet. can find out how to handle if guest complaints, Students during
on the job training get new knowledge
