CPE Credit & Certificate Process

• To earn CPE credits, attendees will need to be present for the entire Conference session. You can view
the full amount of CPEs offered for this conference by visiting the Africa Conference website.
•Attendees must obtain and maintain documentation supporting reported CPE activities.
Documentation should be retained for twelve months following the end of each three-year
reporting cycle. Please refer to ISACA’s Continuing Professional Education Policy.

• One CPE hour is earned for each fifty (50) minutes of active participation (excluding lunches and
breaks) for qualifying ISACA and non-ISACA professional educational activities and meetings. CPE hours
can be earned in quarter-hour increments and can also be reported in quarter hours (rounded to the
nearest quarter hour). For example, a CISA who attends an 8-hour presentation (480 minutes) with 90
minutes of breaks will earn 7.75 continuing professional education hours.

• Session Surveys will be available during each session presentation. Surveys can be accessed in the
platform icon tool bar at the bottom of your screen. Please click on the pink clipboard icon to access the
survey. Surveys must be complete before the end of the session.

• CPE credits and certificates earned from ISACA Conference Africa will be added to your MyISACA
account. You will be notified by email once this is complete, this process can typically take 4-6 weeks, if
not longer, pending the volume of certificates. CPE certificates need to be kept as proof of credits
earned in the event of an audit at a later date. ISACA will not be responsible for holding record of this
information.

• ISACA Conference Africa conference sessions will be archived and available to view On-Demand
until 4 August 2022 at 11:59pm CT. Communication on how to access on-demand sessions have been
included in the Know Before You Go emails. You may watch sessions on-demand and self-claim
additional CPEs up to the total amount offered for the Conference.

Reminder: This process and delivery of CPE certificate and credits will be completed 3-4 weeks post
event. You will be notified by email when CPE's have been uploaded to your account.
