    Invitation of Evening Diploma Course at Learning & Development

    Learning & Development Department, SNTI is invites applications for Evening Diploma
    Course at SNTI for all permanent employees of company at Jamshedpur Works, Tata
    Growth Shop (TGS) & Tube Division. Requesting the applicants to make note of following
    facts and guidelines:
    Discipline · Mechanical, Electrical & Metallurgy
    Duration · 3 years (Six semesters)
    Batch size · Thirty-Five max (35)
    Course type, Venue & · 3 years non-residential certificate course
    timing · Classes will be held at SNTI/Online
    · Some part will be covered through eLearning.
    · Classes will be held from Monday to Saturday. The
    timings will be from 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm
    · Classes will be original & repeat weekly basis.

    Minimum qualification & · Matriculation with English, Science & Mathematics


    experience · Trade Apprentice (TA) should have 4 years of
    experience as on 1st Dec, 2021.
    · Non-TAs, should have 6 years of experience as on 1st
    Dec, 2021
    Age-limit · Age should be less than/equal to 45 years as on 1st
    Dec, 2021
    Employee responsibility & · A minimum of 75% attendance in each subject in each
    undertaking semester
    · Canvassing during the process will disqualify the
    candidature/training period at any point in time

    Benefit to the Employee · Upon successful completion of course, the qualification


    of the employee will be considered equivalent to
    diploma in Mechanical, Electrical & Metallurgy
    Engineering for internal opportunity in Tata Steel.
    · Employees will be eligible to apply for position for which
    diploma in Mechanical, Electrical & Metallurgy is
    considered as minimum qualification if he/she is
    otherwise eligible.
    · Post completion of the course, certificate will be
    awarded.
    Selection criteria · A written test will be followed by a Personal Interview.
    Written test will be based on syllabus of class X
    focussing on English, Mathematics, Science, TQM &
