This valve allows to regulate the flow rate during the

phases. Flow rate is adjusted to a fixed value by driving
two solenoid valves (one NO and one NC) in such a way
as to regulate the position of the valve membrane.
With this type of valve VEGA II can manage one default
high flow rate and two separate lower high-flow rates,
triggered by signals from two digital inputs. As alternatives
the high flow-rate can be set by serial line message.

Additive functions
VEGA II manages an in-line additive system as following:
• by using integrated additivation function (optional)
By managing directly two hydraulic of two metered or
piston additivators. VEGA II commands directly the
pump and the injection electro-valves or the piston. All
the parameter are set in VEGA II.
• by connecting through a serial line RS485 with ISOIL
FlexiMix device.
Can be managed up to six FlexiMix, each of which can
inject up to six additives. Totally can be managed up to six
additives.
In this case, VEGA II is able to:
o establish if additives are required or not,
o select the additive and the percentage,
o receive the quantity injected by FlexiMix,
o receive an alarm, to take diagnostic checks to
decide if the delivery should be continued or not.
• by connecting to “intelligent” additive devices,
generally equipped with electronics that receive
impulses representing the quantity and control a
hydraulic circuit with a dosing valve, piston or pump, to
supply quantities according to desired percentages.
VEGA II allows you to control two separate devices with
a maximum of four additives each using the following
digital signals:
o n° 2 D/O to select the device
o n° 4 D/O to select the additive
o n° 2 D/I to acquire alarms
Combining the different functionally mode it’s possible to
manage up to 6 additives simultaneously.

Printing reports.
VEGA II is able to produce reports that can be configured
with a set of specific parameters through different serial
protocols.
The ISOIL printing systems managed are:
• 80 columns serial printers:
o ST500A (RS232 max. distance 50 m)
o ST500B (RS422 max. distance 1000 m)
• Tickets serial printers:
o ST100B - Epson TM-U295 (RS232 max. distance 50 m)
o ST100C - Epson TM-U295 (RS422 max. distance 1000 m)
• SPD-02
This system allows up to a maximum of 32 VEGA II for
each of the RS422/RS485 serial lines it is equipped with.
The SPD-02 collects the data from each VEGA II and
prints on 80 columns printer.
SPD-02 can be ordered in a cold back-up version.
• ST500-M (MID approved)
This system allows up to a maximum of 16 VEGA II to be
connected in multi-point by RS422 or RS485 serial line. The
ST500-M collects the data from each VEGA II and prints
them on a 80 columns printer. Data frame is checked by
CRC16.
