Write basic principle for phase locked loop:

In the basic PLL, reference signal and the signal from the voltage controlled oscillator are connected to the two
input ports of the phase detector. The output from the phase detector is passed to the loop filter and then filtered
signal is applied to the voltage controlled oscillator.

How can you detect weak signal buried in noise using PLL principle:

We can detect weak signal buried in noise using PLL principle. We need to pass the signal through the
signal amplifier, and then through a PLL circuit, and at the end through a DC Amplifier. This is the entire
circuit of a Lock in amplifier, which detects weak signal buried in noise.

What is the purpose for dual phase lock-in amplifier:

Lock-in amplifiers are used to measure the amplitude and phase of signals buried in noise by
using the process of synchronous detection to recover the signals.
