 Normal activity is defined as regular day to day activities carried out in factory .
 Abnormal activity is defined for events that occur on planned or un planned basis but which may have a considerable impact on
environment.
 Emergency situation is defined for events that can occur any time which could be result of non-conformances of system or unexpected
circumstances.
 Method of assessing significant risk DETECTABILITY (D) x PROBABILITY (P) + SCALE (SC) + SEVERITY (SV)
 Results of total rating = or > 6 are to be considered as significant environment aspects.
 Environmental aspects having legal requirements are considered significant in nature though the risk rating may be below 6.
