Did friends that you choose are more influential than the family?

For a long time, people have been arguing about who most affects the development of the
child as a person. I have my own thoughts on this matter. So I would argue that our families
are more influential than our friends.

It is commonly accepted that if we see a person's social circle, then we can roughly imagine
this person. In my opinion it's quite logical. And I totally agree with that opinion. In addition
you can guess the person's hobbies, his work, musical taste and much more. But do friends
impose this on us? My personal conviction is that this is not true. Because in adulthood we
find friends according to our interests and tastes.

But why did I mention the friends that we find in adulthood? I would say that most of our
childhood friends are still with us. Because we were once introduced by our parents. Before
school, we spend almost all our free time with our parents. At this time we are taught, we are
growing as a person. At this age, our parents try to build a good social circle for us.
Therefore, parents are more influential.

In conclusion, I can say that, in my opinion, parents influence us much more than anyone
else. But the influence of friends and environment also cannot be denied.
