Test Sequence - Scratch Pad Sequence of VJ100

Scratchpad sequences - special test sequence ............ to test different components of
the VJ 1000 Series. Using mnemonics see the list below: SYSTEM MENU.

System menu, Choose OPTION .................. EXECUTE TEST SEQUENCE.

DG1 turns the Gutter pump on to 100% and DG0 turns

off the vacuum pump

Examples:
 To activate the VG Valve for 2 seconds and immediately deactivate it, the sequence
would be:
VG1,WM2000,VG0

 To activate the VG Valve for 2 seconds and deactivate it immediately and repeat this
for 3x the sequence would be:
J03,VG1,WM2000,VG0,WM2000,J

 To turn on the ink micropump and go to a pressure of 3.00 bar, leave it on for 10
seconds and repeat this for 2x, the sequence would be:
J02,DP0300,WM10000,DP0001,WM10000,J
 To start the vacuum pump at 100%, energize the Vc Valve for 2 seconds,
 leave it on for 10 seconds and repeat this for 2x, the sequence would be:
J02,DG1,WM5000,VC1,WM2000,VC0,WM2000,DG0,WM1000,J
 To activate the 4 Valves of the VF, VL, VG and VP cylinder head for 1 sec.
 and repeat this for 4x then, the sequence would be:

J04,VF1,WM1000,VF0,WM1000,VL1,WM1000,VL0,WM1000,VG1,WM1000,VG
0,WM1000,VP1,WM1000,VP0,WM1000,J
 To measure the modulation signal in Bico / Nozzle for 20 seconds, the sequence
would be:
J05,DM0050,WM20000, DM0080,WM20000, DM0150,WM20000,J
 Hold the pump at 2.00 bar, wait 1 second, turn off the pump, wait 1 sec, the
sequence would be:
J10,DP0200,WM1000,DP0001,WM1000,J
 Attach the vacuum pump and click on the Vc valve 3x then the sequence would be:
DG1,J03, VC1,WM1000,VC0,WM1000,J,DG0
 Fill inkcore with make-up:
VA0,DG1,VC1,VT1,VM1
 Fill inkcore with ink :
VA0,DG1,VC1,VT1,VI1
 Umbilical purge using empty cartridges:
VA0,DP200,VV1,VR1,VI1

Check cartridge during this process so it won’t swell up.

Or do not remove the manifold module, just unscrew the valves, turn both valves
sideways to show the gasket section.
Identify VG, VF, VL, VP.
Then use this scratchpad sequence to unblock each valve.
Under system, scroll down to EDIT SCRATCHPAD sequence, type below; 👇
J1000, VG1, WM30, VG0, WM30, J
(Note VG is gutter valve)
If you want to do for purge valve, just replace VG1 with VP1, and replace VG0 with
VP0....
Do the same for all valves, then, press Enter...
Scroll to RUN sequence.

Then whichever valve you working on (as typed in the sequence) , while the continuous
clicking sound is being heard, spray continuously, cleaning solution inside the holes
where the gasket is.
You can do for all four valves one after the other.
