Meet our Founder
Deepak Poddar
As the Founder and CEO of PODS Group, Mr.
Deepak Poddar brings 20+ years of leadership
experience in healthcare, supply chain
management, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals
production, and real estate.
Mr. Poddar studied Medical Science at St.
Andrews University in Scotland, United
Kingdom. With a strong passion for healthcare,
Mr. Poddar founded Lotus Senior Living Limited,
a nursing home group that cares for elderly
and disabled patients at two specialized care
homes in the Glasgow area. He successfully
led the development and launch of Parkhouse
Manor, Sherbrooke Lodge, and other nursing
homes, securing the Investors in People Award.
Furthermore, he became the nominee and
finalist for the Newcomer of the Year Scottish
Asian Business Awards.
As an advocate for programs that support
children’s development, wellbeing, and
education, Mr. Poddar founded Little Einstein’s
Kindergarten Ltd. The organization provided
care for 440+ children daily across seven award-
winning children’s nurseries. He also acquired
the Wonderland Nursery Group in Tayside, and
received the award of runner-up for Nursery
Chain of the Year, by the Nursery World UK trade
publication.
As one of the original promoters and
shareholders, Mr. Poddar maintains a close
affiliation with Patanjali Ayurved, one of the
top ten largest FMCG companies in India with
billions of dollars of revenue. Mr. Poddar is
actively involved in the Patanjali Yog Peeth (UK)
Trust, a charity that promotes wellness and
disease management.
