BACKGROUND OF OHM’S LAW
Ohm’s law is the relationship between current, voltage and resistance in circuit. Ohm’s law
states that the current passing through a conductor or a resistor in a closed circuit is directly
proportional to voltage. This is given by the formula below;

When resistor is stable it obeys Ohm’s law and its resistance is calculated using the equation
above. The unit for calculating resistance is ohms (Ω).
