Once you inserted the
picture, it will also give you
options to change the

JPEG (.jpg)
a typical image format for
storing lossy and
compressed
image data in order to
reduce file size.

PNG (.png)
an image file format that provides
a clear image background. Since
PNG maintains lossless quality
when compressed, it takes up
more storage space than a jpeg
file. Allows transparency of
images

GIF (.gif)
an image file format used for
still or animated image. It can
hold multiple pictures in one
single file making it look like an
animation.

shapes to help you
make your
document attractive

SmartArt is a visual
representation of text

data and information. It
helps you to easily
create process flow,
relationship or hierarchy
in a visual a form.

CHART

Chart is a visual
representation of
numbers used to
visualize a series of
numeric data in a
graphical manner so
that it is easier to
understand.

IN LINE WITH TEXT


In Line with Text. This is the
default settings for the images
that are inserted in the
document. It treats
your image like a text

SQUARE
This setting wraps the text
around all sides of the image in a
square pattern like a frame

TIGHT

This is almost the same as


square setting, but the text
‘hugs” or conforms to the
general shape of the image

THROUGH
This setting allows the text on
your document to flow even
tighter, taking the contours and
shape of the image. it looks
exactly like tight wrapping. The
difference is that Through
wrapping allows text to flow
into the white space inside an
image

TOP AND BOTTOM


This setting pushes the text
away vertically to the top
and/or the bottom of the
image

BEHIND TEXT
It makes your image look like a
background. This allows your
image to be dragged
and placed anywhere on your
document but with all
the text floating in front of it

IN FRONT OF TEXT
This setting allows your image
to be placed on top of the
text as if your image was
dropped right on it.
