To start, each player should roll one dice to see who goes first. Whoever rolls a
higher number gets to attack first. In case of a tie, roll again.
On each player’s turn, they decide which attacks to try against their opponent.
Players should only have 4 attacks to choose from (pre-chosen before the fight, not
during). They should follow these steps for completing their attack:
1. Choose an attack from their stat sheet. (Ex. Lightning bolt.)
2. Player rolls their 2 die.
3. Using the number rolled and the attack’s advantage or disadvantage,
calculate the final score of the roll.
4. Compare the final score of the roll to the opponent’s stat sheet. If the score is
higher than the stat on the opponent’s sheet, then the damage is inflicted
(each attack has a set amount of damage possible [either 1 or 2]).
5. In the event of a tie (score matches the stat on the sheet), the person being
attacked wins and no damage is inflicted.
Each player takes turns attacking until one player’s character is down to 0 HP. The
character with remaining HP wins the fight.
Magic Items:
If you received a magic item card, you can use that item ONCE, and then it is gone.
Follow the directions on the card. (Example: Healing potion allows you to add 3
points to your HP. This MUST be used on your turn. Not a reaction to going below
0 HP.)

Mythology Mini-Research
Stat Sheet Instructions: After reading about your assigned god or goddess, you’ll have points
to spend “building” your stat sheet. Follow the instructions below to fill in the six boxes on
the right side of your sheet.
Step 2: Spend your points. You have 40 points to distribute on your sheet. You MAY NOT
put all points into one stat, and each stat cannot be higher than 12 points! Also keep in mind
that someone will have to roll TWO dice to try and beat your score. Make sure to give your
god/dess the stats that match their personality/history. (Example: a god of Wisdom should
have a high WIS number. This is part of your grade for the assignment!)
Step 3: Calculate your health. Once you have your numbers, use your CON score and the
table below to figure out how many health points (HP) your god/dess has.
CON Score → HP
0-3 → 6 HP
4-6 → 8 HP
7-9 → 10 HP
10-11 → 12 HP
12 → 14 HP
Step 4: Choose your attacks. From the following table, choose the 4 attacks your god/dess
might be able to use. (If they don’t fit EXACTLY, that’s okay. Do your best to fit your
god/dess.)
