I see Philosophy as a discipline that seeks to open our minds to become aware of illusions and flawed
reasoning. Nature of realities.

Holism and reductionism represent two paradigms within philosophy that provides fundamentally
different accounts or focus as to how to best view, interpret and reason about the world around us.

Holism, the concept that complex behaviors and experiences can’t be fully explained by breaking it
down into its simplest components. Instead, it should be explained as a whole. Within this context,
something can only be properly understood and gain a greater understanding when concepts are
viewed as a whole and not as a collection of parts. Holism tries to understand something in reference to
the whole system or the wholeness of an environment that it is part of.

Reductionism is when concepts are best explained by breaking it down into its simplest and easiest level
of explanation. It breaks an entity down so as to reason about the entire system with reference to its
elementary parts.
