The presence of CCTV cameras with a mirror serves as a
highly efficient deterrent to any would-be troublemakers. Its
purpose is to maximize the security of a specific location, and it's
well-suited for security applications in private residences,
PURPOSE businesses, random shops, malls, and other locations. It also
serves as a low-cost security solution, with maximum visibility
and security, as well as an anti-theft solution/protection. A CCTV
camera with a mirror in a prominent area can help to prevent a
variety of cases such as shoplifting, theft, and more.

The goal of the invention of a mirrored CCTV is to monitor

and record live happenings to ensure public safety through the
means of capturing a 360-view of the area or surrounding where
it is installed—instead of viewing from a one-sided corner, this
enhanced version of a mirrored-CCTV allows the homeowners to
record footages in a panoramic view. The concept of installing
CCTV cameras enables individuals to review events that have
occurred within the community. Consequently, the invention of
GOAL
mirrored CCTVs aims to solve the prevailing cases of theft or
incidences of a robbery which are still prevalent in the
community until the present time, it is intended to investigate
such circumstances and this tool will be a means to control
unpleasant situations around the community. The CCTV
surveillance system is designed to further prevent crime as it
seeks to address the concerns of individuals about one’s safety
and protection, as well as the peace and order in society.

A CCTV camera has many benefits such as defending

against theft. It can record burglary attempts and therefore
BENEFITS OF serves as a deterrent to the robbery attempt. The cameras will
THE record the incident and help lead to the capture of criminals.
INNOVATION CCTV cameras create an environment where vandalism or any
crimes that are likely to be noticed and perpetrators identified.
CCTV cameras also give us the benefit of being able to evaluate
the performance of the employees. staff safety is being
monitored, giving you complete visibility of the business's
premises.

• The Reflective Function of a Mirror - Mirrors are objects

that provide an image from the angle of the incident and
its incident ray. The mirror attached to the camera allows
another point of view as it reflects objects from the same
angle.

• Color on Digital Photographic Images - The capturing of

color in a device such as a CCTV camera is not through
literally capturing and absorbing wavelengths to
determine color. Instead, it is from color filters and
sensors that are situated built-in on our photographic
devices. They capture the intensity of light and hand it
over to its processor to decode what color is present in
each pixelated display.

• The Photoelectric Effect – This illustrates how photons

CONCEPTS (light energy) are turned into electrical signals (free
INVOLVED electrons). This effect is shown by a glass sphere within
which a free-floating cross composed of silver foils hangs,
as found in several National Geographic or scientific
museum souvenir shops. When a bright light shines on
this glass sphere, the small foil cross begins to spin in the
opposite direction of the light. Light has enough energy to
expel electrons from the silver foil collectors, causing the
cross to spin due to an action-reaction effect. Today's
imaging chips, whether CCD or CMOS, are experiencing
something similar.

• Absolute Zero-Noise – Absolute zero, which is not a

temperature you can obtain in your kitchen and only exists
in labs, is the only way to avoid noise. Noise is an
undesired signal in terms of the information because it
does not represent the actual image information projected
on the chip. Thermally produced electrons exist even at
ambient temperature, let alone in the center of a sunbaked
hot zone. The higher the temperature in the area where the
cameras are positioned, the more noise is generated by the
temperature. Cameras used in astronomy, for example,
are cooled to more than 45 degrees below ambient
temperature using dedicated coolers. Because astronomy
looks for even the tiniest speckles of faraway stars, the
colder the imaging chip is, the better details will be seen in
low light, because noise can readily obscure such a feature.

Illustration of the Invention:

This mirror will assist in seeing

the surroundings at the back of
the camera, providing a 360-
degree view.
