We gather here upon this mountaintop

Upon this sacred ground – this holy space;
Witnesses to endless grace never stops
Eternal sun-light ever warms each face.

You can see the busy streets far below us.

Can you hear the city chaos cries?
Kneeling down and hands together close
The steeple gathers people to arise.

Let us call eternal intercessing

Pull out the sword from blind stones in our hearts;
Take up Heaven’s standards of sweet blessings
In thickets and ravines light to impart.

We march to meet the shrine of Jesus once more

And wear the armor only he can forge.

Start your day with a smile and a prayer

May we blessed with a day that full of joy
Let us be a sunshine for the others
And don’t let the sins make ourselves destroyed

A place where people gather peacefully

A place where the angels divinely sings
A place that would make you blessed and holy
The place where our savior is resting

From the bell tower you can see it all

The glittering streets of the Roxas City
The great altar inside this ancient wall
Symbolizes our Catholicity

You will find hope even when you look dull

Inside the scared Roxas Cathedral

Beneath the watchful gaze of the rocky tors
That surrounds the starlit bay
The deep indigo sea sparkles with delight
As the exquisite scene is forever captured in its waves

I miss its rays of the late august sun

as it beamed on my sunburnt cheeks
and I winced,
looking away from the radiant orange glow.

I miss its cool summer breeze

blowing through my salty hair revealing
my back to the sun exposing the tan lines
from the hours we spent out under the sun.

I remember that overwhelming feeling

of bliss as we run down that beach
dancing, laughing, living in the moment
just as waves crashed upon its shore.

Parks with trees full of leaves
People walking like busy bees
Roxas City, oh what a perfect place to be

An impressive city with religious roots

Where the Sacred Heart of Jesus arose
The Cathedral Church with Spanish touch
Inside you'll feel lighter so much

The waves in the seaside is catchy

But so is the food in Roxas City
Named as the Seafood Capital of the country
No wonder all restau are packed at Baybay

In the middle of the sea is Olotayan Island

A spot filled with beauty and sand
Perfect for the beach getaway trip
The crystal clear water is waiting for your dip
