4th Quarter Week 1
ANSWERS:
1. SOLENOID 2. MAGNETICFIELD 3. MAGNETS
4. GALVANOMETER 5. MAGNETICFLUX
ACTIVITY 2.5: COMPARE AND CONTRAST
Direction: Using the Venn Diagram, compare and contrast alternating current and direct current.
Alternating current:
Electrons do not flow
Electrons vibrate back and forth
Not continuous
Flow of electricity obtained from a generatior
Direct current:
Electrons move in one direction
Moves from negative to positive and an on/off switch acts as a gate for this electron flow.
Called as a constant current because it flows continuously until either it is switched off or its power source runs out of or stops
generating power.
Flow of electricity obtained from batteries
SAME:
Produces electrical current that flows through a conductor
Uses electrons as charge carriers in the current
