1. Total Quality Management – Total Quality Management is a system of management based on the principle that
every individual in an organization must be committed in maintaining high standard work in every aspect of a
company’s operation. The organization should continuously improve its ability to provide high quality products, and
services to customers. Some of the key concepts of TQM undertaken by the Navy in the 1980s is that “Quality
improvement is a continuous effort and conducted throughout the organization,” and “Increased quality comes from
systematic analysis and improvement of work processes.” Thus, TQM can be connected with the continuous
improvement of work and efforts done in the organization to increase the quality of the work and to prevent possible
errors.
2. Organizational Behavior Approach – Organizational Behavior is the study of the way of how people interact
within groups or team. The study is applied to create more efficient business organizations. The central idea of the
study is that a scientific approach can be applied to the management of workers.
