INTRODUCTION

I ,( Dhruv Chaudhary ,12104576 ) , have completed

theCommunity Development Project as given to me
under Academic Year 2022-23 ,
Under the Supervision of the NGO Group
#_serve_humanity_ , Meerut .

#_serve_humanity, which started its services in 2019 , is a

NGO initiated by Mr. Karan Jeet Singh (Manager) & his
friends .
#_serve_humanityfocuses mainly on :
1) Environment Awareness .
2) Cleanliness .
3) Make the Environment Eco – friendly
4) Helping the needy
PROBLEM IDENTIFICATION & CAUSE

In this Project , we Identified 4 Problems of our area .

Area = Shardhapuri , Meerut Cantt , UP .

1stProblem : Lack of Trees on Road Dividers .

Cause : Because of no regular care , earlier trees & plants
died .

2ndProblem : Plastic Packs on Streets .

Cause : Because of no dustbins on road for throwing
used materials & garbage .
3rd Problem : Pollution and Green environment.
Cause : Because of less plantation around and
overpopulation .
4th Problem: Suffering from basic needs .
Cause : Because of no proper shelter and no one to look
after them.
OBJECTIVE TO BE ACHIEVED

Our objective was to solve , the previously discussed

Problems of our area .

Objective in the 1stproblem : was to somehow ensure

that , trees we plant now survives every conditions .
As earlier trees died due to lack of care .

Objectives in the 2ndproblem : was to take steps to

ensure that no-one throws garbage on the streets & side-
crossings .
Objectives in the 3rd problem : to take steps to ensure
that By placing the banner about eco friendly environment
in some local palces in our city.
Objectives in the 4th problem : was to take steps to
ensure that donating to the needy ones is a great way of
helping them.
STEPS TAKEN TO ACHIEVE THE OBJECTIVES .

STEPS TAKEN TO SOLVE 1ST PROBLEM

1. #_serve_humanity_ called a meeting of members for
discussion on the Topic ‘Plantation’ .
2. After the Meet , we visited the Road Divider where we
wanted to plant the trees .
3. We decided to plant trees , in front of the shop of one
of the members of #_serve_humanity_.
4. So , we went to ‘Yashika Nursery , Meerut’ &
purchased 5 small trees & organic fertilizer .
5. We went back to the target spot & planted the trees .
6. For the next 3-4 days we went to the spot & ensured
that it has got the right treatment .
7. #_serve_humanity_ decided to visit the place twice a
month , i.e. once in every 15 days .

STEPS TAKEN TO SOLVE 2ndPROBLEM
1. #_serve_humanity_ called for a meeting of members ,
this time discuss on ‘Cleanliness’ .
2. We decided to establish 5 Dustbins in the area .
3. We decided to spots to be used .
4. Then , we went to the Wholesaler of the Dustbins in
the area & purchased 5 Public Dustbins .
5. We put 5 dustbins on the spots as decided .
6. We request people around to Use the Dustbins .
7. We explained them the advantages of the act .
8. Then we talked to a ‘Trash Collector’ , to clean the
dustbin regularly in exchange of monthly
remuneration .
9. #_serve_humanity_ decided to do weekly inspection
of this task .
 STEPS TAKEN TO SOLVE 3 rd PROBLEM

(i) Greenery in Everywhere: - Greenery in everywhere

means to make the environment clean, healthy,
Protective and green Surroundings. For that we have
planted some flowers near ground Boundary and gave
water daily to those flowers so that they grow faster .
ii) Placing of Banners: - We have placed the Banners
in the some Places Which Contains the Lines some of
that are“ Ped Lagao Ped Bachao” and “ Ped Hai Toh
Hum Hai” etc. So that everyone can know the
Importance of Trees in our life and they do not spread
the waste material anywhere except Dustbins.
 STEPS TAKEN TO SOLVE 4th PROBLEM

1. #_serve_humanity_ called for a meeting of members ,

this time discuss on to serve the needy.
2. We decided to serve the clothes to the poor people
those who can’t afford and to look after the streets
dogs that suffering from disease.
3. Then we went to the needy ones and give them
clothes and rescued local streets dogs.
4. #_serve_humanity_ decided to do weekly inspection
of this task .
EFFECTIVENESS OF THE PROJECT

In our 1stCase ,
The 5 Trees planted by us are now slowly on the path of
Growth . As stated earlier , we ensured that , they get
timely water & organic nutrients .
Once these trees are full grown (in 1 to 2 Years) , they will
provide good shades & greenery around .
Also , our this step motivated others as a uncle planted 3
plants on that divider & promised to take care of them .

In our 2ndCase ,
The people of the area are now using dustbins to throw
used packs . Streets are a lot cleaner now . Also the
dustbin is being cleared regularly by the assigned man .
Seeing others using dustbin , the one who throws
garbage here & there feel a bit ashamed , & try to change
his/her acts .
In our 3rd case ,
The people of the area are aware now about the
importance of planting trees and because of that its
contribute to green living.

In our 4th case ,

The people of the area are now looking towards the ones
those who are needy and helping them and taking care of
the local animals of the city.
Also , this step help us that people looking towards the
needy ones and helping them to lead a better life .
If I want to analyze these acts , I believe that we
achieved a 90 to 95% effectiveness .
 CONCLUSION
Firstly , I would like to thank Mittal School Of Business &
Lovely Proffesional
University , Punjab for providing me such a Valuable &
Worthy Project , which inculcated valuable morals &skills
in me .

Secondly , I would be grateful to #_serve_ humanity_ for

accepting me as their member & assisting me to
complete these tasks . I remember how Mr. Karan Jeet
Singh helped me everytime during odd times of the
projects .

I would also like to appreciate residents of my area , for

their co-ordination & help , during the working of these
tasks .

for their continuous support & for always believing in me .
