Hello everyone, my name is Wilson Alexis Santos Chavez, I am a seventh-semester
student of tourism and hotel business administration, I am in English course number 60
level 6.

Job Offer: Position: Operational Manager.

The prestigious hotel chain "Paradise and Destinations", with a 10-year history in the
market, located in four countries and 22 cities in this country, requires for Villavicencio
location, applicant as an Operational Manager.

Operational Manager duties and responsibilities.

• Planning, implementing and supervising the properly development and execution of all
daily activities and processes.

• Ensuring a pleasant organizational culture

• Facilitating communication between departments, companies and clients.

• Increasing employees’ productivity.

• Ensuring the maintenance of work areas are kept in excellent conditions.

• Increasing welfare plans for the organization's collaborators for the excellent provision
of services.

• Controlling of the workers’ arrivals and verify shifts’ schedules are complied with.

Operational Manager Salary.

• COL$3,900,000 per month (three million nine hundred thousand pesos)

• Worker’s benefits: Health insurance 12.5% Retirement plans: 16%

• Mid-year and Christmas bonuses: COL$1,950,000 each (one million nine hundred and

fifty thousand pesos)

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Candidate must be professionals or being coursing careers related to the hotel and
tourism area.

Once hired, the person has to spend a week in training introduction which should be
leading by a professional from our human talent management area.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCES:

Technical skills: The candidate must have experience with hotel software management
such as Opera32, Zeus and Amadeus.

Physical strength: The applicant should be able to lead team work which is needed to
help mobilize and install instruments or objects required.

Interpersonal skills: Operational managers must have emotional control, manage

emotional intelligence since has to be in charge of a large group of collaborators and
are at the call of any client, whether for an unexpected situation.

Communication Skills: Operational managers must transmit information effectively and

efficiently to customers as well as to the organization's coworkers.

Critical Thinking Skills: Operational managers must have the ability to think critically
and independently to respond to different critical moment dealing with some types of
customers who should be given answers immediately.

Work Schedule: The operations managers have a rotating shift from Sunday to Sunday,
they work for eight hours according to what is established, they have a rest day during
the week, avoiding holidays or weekends when there is a lot of demand.

Work Environment: The operational manager will be with a team, in that way, the
candidate should be able to work with people with a wide variety of skills and talents.
