DIODE APPLICATIONS (Power Supply)

Objective
A. To determine the output waveform for each section of the power supply.
B. Identify different types of rectifier circuits and its possible connection to transformer.
C. Learn how to determine values of the Vm using the oscilloscope.
D. Differentiate values from observed, calculated and measured.

TRANSFORMER:
Procedure:

1. Use a center tapped transformer as shown below.

2. Adjust the transformer turns ratio to have an output voltage of 12V rms in figure (a). Input at the primary must be
220 V AC. Use same transformer ratio in circuit b & c.

3. Measure the output voltage as shown above using multimeter. Screenshot and paste the results below.
