Title: IT Technician

Job Summary

As an IT firm, we (Softco Ltd) seek a technically skilled individual with a strong personality and

problem-solving capabilities that will help maintain and maintain all technology connected to the

company mainframe. Responsibilities include and are not limited to ensuring maximum

utilization of all systems, responding to user needs, and acting as a point of contact for all IT-

related queries at the user level.

Key Duties

For the essential functions, reasonable accommodations shall be made to enable individuals with

 Acting as first point for error reporting and assisting users.

 Protect data accuracy by ensuring proper setup and maintenance of security systems.

 Conducting group or individual training session for internal employees regarding in-

house applications.

 Assist IT manager in database design, system analysis, and design process to help

develop solutions fulfilling business requirements.

 Configure, maintain, diagnose and resolve hardware, network and system issues (Include

but not limited to Printers, Local Servers, Computer, Smartphone & in-house operation

program).

 This position reports to the Softco Ltd. Technology Director. The director is located at

the company administration building at the Headquarters in Calhoum, GA.

 Complete the task they are assigned, perform required duties, and be present for proper

and extra shifts to help achieve organizations goal.

Knowledge and Skills

 Ability to troubleshoot procedure and provided guidelines.

 Knowledge of software deployment and upgrade processes in the back office

 Effective issue solving requires the ability to interact successfully with colleagues inside

the organization.

Minimum Qualification

 A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is

required.

 A minimum of one year of experience in the relevant subject or position is required.

 Experienced and specializing in Computer/IT – database, network and systems.

 6 weeks orientation and training program attended.

Salary compensation ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 annually, subject to government tax. There

is provision for house allowance, hardship allowance, medical insurance, and retirement scheme.

All these allowances shall be negotiated to suit the candidate’s needs.
