Search Everything Installation

Purpose:
This Work Instruction will outline the procedure for installing the RSA application on your cell phone
and importing your token in order to connect to the VPN more securely.

Downloading the RSA App:

1) On your cell phone, download the "RSA SecurID Software Token" application.

Android and Apple , Apps look the same.

Requesting a New Token:

2) Once you have installed the “RSA SecurID Software Token” application on your cell phone, navigate
to https://auth.cvgrp.com/console-selfservice and sign in using your CVG domain credentials.
Note: Type just your username into the User ID field, DO NOT type “cvg\” before your username.

3) After signing in, click the "request a new token" link.

4) Now, select what Operating System your cell phone uses, whether that be iPhone (iOS) or Android.
Enter a reason for requesting a new token (Ex. New User), then click the "Submit" button.

5) Click the “OK” button.

Note: The request will need to be approved by our Security Admin, you will then receive an e-mail with
information for activating your token once approved. You WILL NOT be able to activate your token until
it has been approved and you have received the approval e-mail.

6) Once approved, you will get an email like the example above. Click the second link in the email to
continue the process.

7) Enter your CVG Username, the Enablement Code, and the Serial Number from the e-mail. Click the
“OK” button to continue.

8) Click the “OK” button.

9) Click the “Active Your Token” link.

10) A pop-up window will appear that will display a QR Code. On your cell phone, open the "RSA
SecurID Software Token" app.

iPhone Android

11) Tap the “+” icon on the bottom-left of the application then tap the “Scan QR Code” option. Note:
The application will request access to use the camera on your cell phone. Select “Ok” or “Allow”.

12) Scan the QR Code from step 10 with your cell phone.
After scanning the QR code using your mobile device's camera, it will automatically import the Token,
and will begin giving you the randomly generated code for accessing GlobalProtect (VPN).
You can now connect to VPN using your Domain Username, and your RSA randomly generated Token.
