I- INTRODUCTION
This document describes functional, electrical and mechanical features of the High Power
Switching Module. The High Power Switching Module is integrated with the Low Power Switching
Module in a Module whose name is SWITCHING MODULE.

Front Led indicates the state of switching module :

· Blinking green led : Switching module is OK
· Led Switch off : Switching module isn’t power supply

The Calibration label on right side indicates the date of last checking and the date of next
checking.

II.6 - Sizing and Connection Module

The Low Power Switching Card is integrated into a metal 19‘’ rack module.

Sizing :
· Height :128,4 mm
· Width : 70.8 mm (14 TE)
· Depth : 230 mm

In front side, there is one Led which indicates the state of LPS card.
In back side, there is one DIN 41612 type MH male (31 pins : 24pins 6A and 7 pins 15A ).

FS1 : Autodiagnose

This function allows the station to test its measurement precision. The station can know at any
moments if the measurements are precise or not and detect a problem on HPS module.

FS2 : Control Power Supply

This function is used to control the voltage apply on the element which is tested.

FS3 : Measure a current

This function is used to measure a current on a precision resistor (0,1Ohm) cabling in serial with
element to test.

FS4 : Commutate in cascade

This functionality allows the station to commutate all HPS relay in order to choose the measure
channel.
