As future leaders of their generation, the Children of Balocbocan Elementary

School created an organization to develop and guide the children to be a responsible and
productive citizen in the community that is why Supreme Pupil Government was organized. As
an organization there should be officers for it to function well, so we conducted the Election of
Officers last October 4, 2021. The following were the elected officers Athleah Louredelle L.
Richa as President, Ritchie Mary C. Colis the Vice President, Shiela Mae B. Lofranco the
Secretary, Jeraldin G. Putian the treasurer, Christine Grace M. Gungob, Auditor, the two Public
Information officer Richile Joy M. Gungob and Joben P. Joromo and lastly there were 5
Representatives Elected namely Seth Luigie L. Richa, Jessa G. Putian, Jeasiana Nina P.
Sante, Princess Aira Labador and Rhey Kiefer O. Boncales.
To formally function with their duties and responsibilities, the newly elected
officers now had the Oath Taking Program last November 12, 2021 participated with the
different stakeholders of the school. Barangay Officials headed by Hon. Captain Jesus Refulle
were also present and our School Head was the confirming officer of the Oath taking Activity.
The Supreme Pupil Government officers initiated and organized different

activities, in line with the 4 core values of the Department of Education, different programs were
administered in each core values. For Makadiyos, showing faith to our Almighty God and the
Three o’clock Prayer crusade, the teachers and the SPG Officers will always remind the
learners to have family prayer everyday and encouraged them to join in the three O’clock
prayer. The SPG officers, teachers, parents and the learners are the person involved in this
activity. They usually do it at home and this is for the whole year.

The next core value is the Makakalikasan, the activities were Bayanihan and
Yes to Green Program. Bayanihan was participated by the SPG Officers, teachers Barangay
Council and different organizations in the Brigada Eskwela Kick Off parade and program,
teachers and parents helped in cleaning the school/SPG wall and assist in the Brigada Eskwela
Program. In Yes to Green Program activity we had tree planting of different kinds of bearing
trees such as calamansi, rambotan, pomelo and coconut as well. The location of the tree
planting activity was the school farm lot and surroundings this was done in the Second quarter
of the S.Y 2021-2022.
The third core value was Makatao. The activities were titled as Pananagutan
mo, Kalusugan Mo and Mga Batang Manlalaro sa Balocbocan Elementary School. The first
activity aims to help the school in making Health protocol signages in Covid-19,make compost
pit,compost heap and sack rack in the following areas like the school gate, classrooms and
school ground, the essence of this activity is to be able to help school children on what to do
during pandemic and for their safety as well. The second activity aims to provide the school
sports equipment and facilities such as volleyball and badminton court so that learners will
always be able to develop camaraderie and sportsmanship despite having the pandemic but
still observe health safety protocols. This was held in the second quarter of the S.Y. 2021-2022
The last but not the least core value is Makabansa, the activity was named as
Pambansang Wikay Pagyamanin Para Sa ikakaunlad Natin. This aims to give the old/ obsolete
filipino books to the pupils, hikayatin ang mga mag aaral na matutong gumamit at magmahal sa
sariling wika and participate in the Buwan ng Wika program. It is very timely because

of the pandemic the learners need to indulge themselves in reading books as their recreation
not just watching tv or using mobile phones. This was held on the third quarter of the S.Y.
2021-2022. The School property custodian, SPG Officers together with their coordinator,
teachers and students were the participants of the activity.
The essence of the different activities implemented and organized by the SPG
officers together with their adviser were all for the good and wellness of the school children in
Balocbocan Elementary School different activities though with limitations but still be able to
experience it. The different activities held in the school ground had strictly followed Safety
Health Protocols.

Dated September 26, 2021 the Balocbocan Elementarty School conducted Supreme
Pupil Government filing of Candidancy in whom potential learners represent themselves in
order to be chosen and become school leaders. The SPG adviser Mr. Rolie N. Salva received
22 candidates willing to run in their desired position. After a day of filing the 22 candidates are
all qualified.
In connection, the activity was continued on October 04, 2021 at exactly 8:00 in the
morning. Election day wasn’t easy as before. The classroom advisers disseminated parent’s
consent and even pupils undergone health protocol standard before entering the school
premises. In the precinct only one voter per table and other where left outside in the waiting
area. Election went smoothly with the cooperation of all teachers and active leadership of SPG
adviser.
In addition, the reading of votes starts at exactly 3:00 o’clock in the afternoon. Some
pupils remain to witness the canvassing of votes especially the running candidates. It takes
One hour and a half to finish the analysis of votes. Different reactions have shown but still they
enjoyed throughout the day.
Indeed, the proclamation of winners happened after the canvassing. The teachers and
pupils of the school congratulate the winners and in return they gave thankful message for the
trust and support given by the majority. The newly elected officers gathered and scheduled by
Mr, Rollie Salva for their Oath taking ceremony.

Showing Faith to our Almighty God
3 O’CLOCK PRAYER CRUSADES
As a Deped Mandate that everyday at school before we start our class and
after class we had a unified prayers for all public schools. This practice is one of
showing our faith to Almighty God. Teacher encourage children about God first we
should explain to our learners that there is a difference between God and their parents.
Let them know that God is everywhere and we cannot see him. In monotheistic
thought God is usually conceived of as the surpreme being, creator, and principal
object of FAITH.
Encouraging our pupils to follow Jesus we need to have a practical ways to

pass our faith to next generation. In the classroom we should have read the bible
stories and encourage them to read bible at home. Incorporate prayer into our daily
routine in school. Encourage children to go church every Sunday. As a role model of
our learners in teaching about Jesus let the kids see our real faith also as a teacher,
teach them good attitude, apologize when were wrong and say thank you when
someone give you foods or when someone helps. Teach to read bible and memorize
some verses and let them listen some Bible Stories so that they will learn to appreciate
who Jesus is.

Best practice in showing faith to God to our learners, first we need to HEAR,
read bible and Pray dialogue with God through prayer, TALK in silent with God,
watching live worship to God. We also explain our children how important to have
faith and worship to God. That is why we celebrate our prayer every 3 o’clock in the
afternoon to strengthen our faith in Our Almighty God.

BAYANIHAN
“Bayanihan” is an activity that implies helping one another. This activity is
mostly observed in the Filipino culture. It is an act that supports and values the

cooperation. Due to the pandemic, most of us are challenged and tested our bayanihan
trait as a Filipino, but with the presence of this pandemic, it only strengthens our
bayanihan trait. We help one another. In school, even there’s no face to face classes
we always witness and feel the strong support of its stakeholders.
Last August 4,- September 2021, with the coordination of the barangay
council, 4P’s, IP’s , Cash for work recipients, in-charge/leader and Municipal Link
(ML), the primary stakeholders (the parents of the learners), SPG and volunteers there
was a clean drive and Brigada Eskwela happened inside the school. The stakeholders
participated the mentioned activity. The said effort given by the members was a great
help to maintain the cleanliness of the school. Although the said activity was
compulsory to the 4P’s and IP’s members, we didn’t hear any complaints from them
instead they only showed willingness in participating the mentioned activity. Without
their help, the success of the activity wouldn’t be possible.
The activity was a great opportunity for us teachers, and pupils to build a
strong bond with the stakeholders. It was an enjoyable moment between teachers and

stakeholders. It ignited the bayanihan spirit. The activity was a first step towards
building good relationship between the school and its stakeholders.

NARRATIVE REPORT ON YES TO GREEN PROGRAM
A small tribute to trees is equal to all life philosophies, because trees are the reason
that life exists on this planet. Trees are one of the most amazing natural wonders, as well
as one of the most valuable gifts to man and other living beings. Food and oxygen are
two of the most important things that trees supply for us. Aside from this, trees provide
additional needs such as shelter, medicine, and environmental advantages. However, as
the value of trees rises and more of their benefits are recognized, the need for trees has
risen to meet the demands of modern living.

We believe that planting trees is critical to saving our Mother Earth for these
reasons. Trees benefit both humans and other living species; they provide us with so
much for so little; they help us live in a cool atmosphere and provide us with attractive
surroundings, which is why we must behave properly, particularly by teaching children
at a young age on how to plant more trees.
The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) donated us saplings of different

varieties. Teachers, SPG officers, YES-O officers, Parents, and Pupils at Balocbocan
Elementary School held activities to raise awareness of the importance of trees and tree
planting in our environment in honor of the National Tree Planting Day.
We proceeded to visit the holes where the seedlings will be placed after a brief
introduction and briefing by the SPG and YES-O adviser. The seedlings are ready to be
planted and have been placed in the hole. We carefully removed the seedlings' protective
cover, held the soil that protects the roots, and inserted them into the holes. We filled the
hole with soil, checked to make sure the seedlings were planted correctly, and inserted
bamboo sticks next to the plants. The bamboo stick will be used to indicate the location.
A total of thirty seedlings were planted. Ten (10) durian plants, ten (10) rambutan
plants, five (5) coconut plants, and five (5) mahogany seedlings were planted at the back
of our school, while five (5) mahogany seedlings were planted beside the Multi-purpose
hall. The activity went well. Participants are all pleased because they believe that
planting trees will help link people in the community to the benefits of trees and promote
environmental responsibility.

The most important aspect is to place signage. Its purpose is to inform pupils, parents,
visitors, and staff about the new policies that must be followed in order to keep the school
safe. The signs were specially designed and crafted with important messages in order to keep
the school site running smoothly. It also informs everyone about the covid-19 health protocol,
which must be followed. Making a compost pit is essential so that we can use it to dispose of
our garbage properly. The teachers teach the pupils where they should dispose of their
garbage, such as biodegradable and non-biodegradable materials.
It is an advocacy of Supreme Pupil Government or (SPG) officers “Pananagutan mo,
Kalusugan mo” for promoting a healthy and cleaned school premises. To maintain this
advocacy SPG officers helped the teachers by putting covid-19 signage from school gate to
whole school area. With the collaboration of Barangay volunteer and TUPAD workers also
helped making school compost pit with fenced then some of the SPG officers put the signage.
Through this activity, Balocbocan Elementary School has a very healthy, neat, and
clean environment. The SPG officers were grateful for the opportunity to assist the school in
becoming more progressive. It is a significant achievement for us as officers to be a part of
this school activity.

NARRATIVE
Sports have long been regarded as a means of being healthy and fit.
However, the significance of sports extends much deeper. Students' entire growth is
aided by sports. Teamwork, accountability, self-confidence, responsibility, and self-
discipline are all life lessons taught through sports. Students can improve their self-
confidence by learning to trust their own abilities, talents, and judgment by
participating in a sport that they excel at. By improving your athletic image, you boost
your own worth, which has a direct impact on your self-esteem.
To encourage and reinforce this, the Supreme Government Pupils (SPG)

established a volleyball court where students can play and exercise at the same
time. The volleyball court was successfully implemented by the Barangay CVO,
parents, and stakeholders and also with the cooperation of the YES-O officers. They
made use of the school's resources, such as the log that served as a post and
foundation, as well as the volleyball net and ball. The parents cleaned and secured
the space for safety during the general Pahina. Although the playground is not
leveled, the parents have ensured that it is a safe and sanitary place to play.
Aside from increasing pupil’s physical stamina, sports instill in them habits of
discipline, tenacity, willpower, and obedience. Regular physical activity has been
shown to improve children's cognitive ability. Sports in school assist pupils prepare
for life's problems. They help pupils attain their life goals by improving their physical
and mental talents. The different national and international sporting events held
around the world, where athletes represent their respective countries, demonstrate
the importance of sports.

PAMBANSANG WIKA AY PAGYAMANIN PARA SA IKAUUNLAD NATIN
NARRATIVE
Hikayatin ang mga mag aaral na matutong gumamit at magmahal sa sariling wika.
Ang pambansang wika ay isang bagay na ginagamit upang ang bawat isa
ay magkakaunawaan. May sariling wika na ginagamit ang ating bansa ang wikang
Filipino. Wikang nag-uugnay sa bawat isa sa kaibuturan ng bawat puso at isipan.
Ang Paaralang Elementarya ng Balocbocan, ay buong pusong

nagsusumikap na hikayatin ang munting musmos na kaisipan ang pagpapahalaga
ng wika at matutunang basahin ang wikang Filipino. Kaya noong Buwan ng
Nobyembre 15, 2021 araw ng lunes , ang bawat guro ay nakikiisa na pabasahin ang
mga bata sa Filipino at ipabahagi kong ang mga natutunang aral ang nakukuha
nito. Iba’t-ibang estretihiya ang ginagamit ng bawat guro , lalong-lalo na ang
itinituro ni Speaker Heidi B. Macahilig “IKA-48 SEMINAR-GAWAING
KAPULUNGAN SA FILIPINO SA PARAANG BIRTUWAL” PASATAF on
November 13,20,27, 2021 elaborate clearly Pagbasa: Interbensyon, Teknik at
Estratehiya sa Panahon ng Pandemya . She explaines the basic components of
what a successful reader “ knows “ the big 5, phonemic awareness, phonics,
vocabulary ,fluency, and comprehension .Ang lahat na ito ay ginagamit ng bawat
guro.Ang gawaing ito ay nakakaingganyo sa mga kabataan at nakakakitaan ito ng
progresibo , talento at pagmamahal ng mga kabataan sa pagbasa ng wikang
Filipino.
Sa kasalukuyan, ang gawaing ito ay ipinagpapatuloy at may ginagawang

patimpalak sa bawat silid-aralan ng mga kabataan para mas maiingganyo pa ang
mga kabataan .At ng dahil sa taos-pusong akitibidad na ito mas lalung humihigpit

ang pagkokonekta sa guro-kabataan, kabataan-guro sa pagpapahalaga ng wikang
Filipino. At idagdag , pa nito mas napupunuan pa ang isipan ng bawat isa na maging
alerto hindi lamang sa pagbabasa kung hindi ang nilalaman nito na makapagbabago
o makapaghuhubog ng buong pagkatao sa musmus na lumaking may
respeto,pagmamahal at takot sa Maykapal.Ika nga ang hind magmahal sa saring
wika ay higit pa ang amoy sa mabahong isda.
SARILING WIKA AT KULTURA: YAMAN NG BAYAN
Ipinakita ng mga mag-aaral ng Balocbocan Elementary School ang kanilang
pagmamahal sa sariling wika at kultura nang ipinagdiriwang nila ang Buwan ng
Wika, 2022 sa kabila ng pandemya.
Inorganisa ang programa ng mga Supreme Pupils’ Government o SPG upang
ipalaganap sa buong paaralan ang kahalagahan ng pagmamahal ng sariling wika at
kultura. Sa tulong ng mga guro, pinadalhan at pinapirmahan ng mga mag-aaral sa

kanilang magulang ang waiver na nagsasabing pinapahintulotan nila ang kanilang
mga anak na lumahok sa programa. Sinigurado din ng mga SPG na sumunod ang
mga mag-aaral sa health protocol na ibinigay ng IATF.
Iba’t ibang kultura ng bansa ang kanilang ipinapakita. May nagsuot ng
etnikong kasuotan ng mga Manobo, Talaandig at Bisaya. Proud at masaya namang
nakilahok ang mga mag-aaral sa programa.

Ang aklat ay parang isang sasakyan na kung saan ikaw ay dadalhin

o padparin ng iyong imahinasyon upang malalaman ang katotohanan
ng isang bagay na nais mong malaman o matuklasan.
Ag mga guro sa Balocbocan Elementary School kasama ang
Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) ay nagsasagawa ng pagbibigay sa
mga mag aaral ng mga lumang libro sa filipino subject na hindi na
magagamit sa kasalukuyan. Ang layunin nito ay ang pagpapakita ng
pagmamahal at kahalagahan ng pagkatuto sa sariling wikang filipino.
Sa pagbibigay ng kasabihan na dapat itong takpan ang aklat upang
hindi ito masira..Nais din ng mga guro na magagamit ng mga
kabataan ang mga aklat sa pagbabasa sa kanilang bahay upang
madadagdagan ang kaalaman ng mga ito, kaalaman sa pagbasa sa
kanilang mga munting isipan lalung-lao na sa magagandang

moralidad. At isa pa mas nahuhubog ng mga kabataan ang
pagkaimportansya sa pagbasa hindi lamang sa ito ay nakapagbigay
aliw kung hindi nakapagbigay ito ng magagandang aral na hindi
mabaling ang mga oras ng kabataan sa pagtitingin ng walang
kabuluhang bagay sa gadyet. Nakakatulong din ang pagbasa sa mga
aklat sa pagsusulba ng mga suliranin sa totoong -buhay at masasagot
ang matlinghagang mga bagay na nais nilang malaman at
maintindihan. Kadagdagan pa nito, taon-taon itong ginagawa sa mga
guro ang pagbibigay ng mga aklat at nakikita nitong unti-unting
napabuti ang pagbasa ng mga bata.
Sa ngayon, nakikita ng mga guro kong papaano pinahalagahan
ng mga kabataan ang mga aklat lalung-lao na sa aklat na filipino dahil
mas madali itong basahin at maintindihan . At nakikitaan din ang mga
bata kong papaano maging maingat sa isang bagay at ang kaugaliang
ito ay katangi-tangi lamang sa isang batang Pilipino na hindi
mapapantayan kahit saang bansa pa man.
