adjective of practical research is to develop skill in student by supplement to the

theoretical knowledge of various subjects in collage but they are practically elapsed of

through which we come to know an organization is and how it works.

During this whole research we got a lot of experience and come to know about the

1. INTRODUCTION OF KIRBY BUILDING SYSTEM
 Kirby building systems is manufacturing company specialising in pre-
engineered buildings.
 It was established in 1976 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of alghanim
industries.
 Kirby building systems is commerce it is operations in india in the year
2000.
 Kirby introduce the PEB technology first in the middle East .in 1976 and
later in india in 2000.
 Kirby building system india limited is the market leader in producing steel
building and structures in india.
 Kirby india has its state of the art PEB plants annual capacity of
125000MT and 75000MT. Hyderabad and Haridwar respectively.
 Kirby has manufacturing facilities in Kuwait, Ras Al Khaimah,
Hyderabad, Haridwar and Vietnam with a production capacity of over
400,000 MT per year.
 It is certified to ISO 9001 quality standard and has sales offices in 70
countries.
 Kirby building systems is one of the largest pre- engineered steel building
companies in the world and is a 100% subsidiary of Kuwait- based
multination and multi-billion dollar business
 Its product list consists of pre- engineered steel buildings applicable for
factories, warehouses, metro rails, supermarkets, aircraft hangars, sports
stadiums, auditoriums, etc.
 Other products include structural steel, sandwich panels. storage solutions,
Kirby roof, Kirby wall , Kirby deep decking panel and Kirby standing
seam panel.
 The company operates 70 sales offices located across six geographical
regions.
 Kirby is members of Indian green building council.

THE COMPANY
2.1HISTORY
 Kirby was established as a joint venture between Alghanim and Kirby
building systems Nucor, USA in 1976 with a production plant in Kuwait.
 In 1981 it built the largest textile complex in the world Alam, Egypt.
 In 1996 it received ISO 9001:2000 quality certification.
 In 2000 the plant in Hyderabad was opened one year later Kirby india
received ISO 9001:2000 certification.
 In 2006 a plant in haridwae was inaugurated with a capacity of 60,000
MT.
 The plant had an investment of Rs 50 crore
 In 2009 the company reintroduced curved steel structures, an alternative
style To other PEB building.
 Kirby has manufactured more than 65,000 buildings across the world.

other.

 All the steel buildings are custom designed to be lighter in weight and
high in strength. So steels building designs have become more flexible,
durable and adaptable over the last four year which has made steel one of
the preferred materials for building construction

steel building along with other trades up to turnkey projects.

The vehicle transporting your building parts must gain access to the building site
from the adjacent highway or road. Such access should be studied and prepared in
advance of arrival. All obstructions, overhead and otherwise, must be removed and
the access rout.
